Great expanse of sand overlooked by low cliffs. Rock pools to explore. Rarely busy because you half to walk down from a car park, or along from Gorran Haven. No loos, no cafe, but great swimming!

Stopped of here to give the pooch a cooling off in the sea. Fairly steep descent down from the Coastal path but worth the detour. It's a very long expanse and when we visited had very few people on at all.

Spotted couple having sex with another man watching - as you do in broad daylight at 4pm on a Saturday afternoon with families walking past.

Lovely quiet beach. No shade or facilities. Take your shoes for swimming as quite stoney on the shoreline. Our dog loved this beach but needed the beach tent for shade. Not too bad to get down to but a steep climb back up.

A short walk down a gentle path to the beach from the National Trust car park gives you a view of the crystal clear blue water edged by a long stretch of beach. The sand is coarse grey and (which gets VERY hot under foot)...More

Lovely wide beach with lots of sand and interesting rocky bits. It's deserted, perhaps because you can only get to it from the coast path or from a small NT car park that's up a small lane.

The National Trust car park is reached following the signs to Lamledra. It's free, but the road is narrow! Or walk round the cliffs from Gorran Haven. Avoid the route through Mevagissey if possible, busy place and narrow roads. There is steepish climb down from...More
