What not to love? At low tide it is easy to just walk across the sand to little Perhaver, and at other times you'll need to take the rather steep steps leading down to the beach.

Lovely to visit here again as I have been since I was 14 and it hasn't changed, although not in the height of summer, early September, slightly mizzly, and lovely to see again, plus the main beach here.

A nice little place to set up for the day. I imagine it can be a lovely little quiet spot too but we went on a Sunday and this was not the case.

Steps well documented on other reviews and not for the unfit but worth it. Can be accessed at low tide from the town but be aware of cut off with incoming tide. Lovely sand for the kids and safe bathing. Pay car park above town...More

Goran Haven's best beach but a good flight of steps required to reach it, but no problem if reasonably fit and making a da of it. Depending on the tide it is easy reached by Goran Harbour beach, a short walk at lower tide

Steps down to beach are not for the faint hearted or unfit but worth it. Quieter than the main beach and with more space when tide is in. A gorgeous little cove.

Although access at high tide is by some a very steep, long flight of steps, the effort is worthwhile. Alternatively, walk (or swim) from Gorran Beach at low tide. Little Perhaver has nice sand, is quite sheltered, and has surrounding rocks and pools to explore....More

An easy walk across the sand at low tide to Gorran Haven village. The beach is a fabulous stretch of sand. The village itself has a lovely little shop selling everything you need food and drink-wise and the donuts are fantastic! The locals are very...More

Usually quite a bit quieter than the main beach (due to logistics). If you walk round from the main beach bear in mind that the steps are pretty steep (although better then many years ago). The path down to the beach is from the top...More

Exceptional beach, accessible at high tide by very many steep stairs (use the handrail, there's a sneaky bit where the depth of the step changes) or from the main beach at Gorman haven at low tide. We used a beach-tent and pitched by the left...More
