While we were at Kettle Village we decided tongonon a horse and buggy ride to learn a little about Lancaster. There were 6 of us. My wife and my sons family which included his wife and 2 sons under the age of 3. The 2.5 year old loved it. Especially the 2 horses pulley the carriage. They were seated in... More

I was having a hard time deciding between the covered bridge tour and the farm tour. So I decided to go with the covered bridge tour since it was late in the day and to return in the morning for the farm tour. Why not? Best decision ever! Caleb was our guide for the covered bridge tour. He was great....funny,... More

This buggy ride was a highlight of our trip! The guide was friendly and informative, telling us all about Lancaster County and the Amish while driving the horses. We went on the Farm tour, which was a nice glimpse into Amish farming. The Covered Bridge Tour sounded nice too. There were absolutely no problems. Beautiful scenery. The buggy itself was... More

My husband and I, with our two grown sons, went on the buggy tour under the covered bridge and had a great time. We just had so many questions and were delighted to be able to ask them. Our tour guide was not Amish or Mennonite. He explaining a lot of about the culture and the differences and pointed out... More

We booked a tour with another family instead of a private tour because we were told my children could sit up front behind the horses. They knew about my daughters medical condition. Once we boarded the driver told us my child with the issues couldn't sit up front and had to sit in the back. She was very loud and... More

We took the 55 minute tour which took us through one od the many covered bridges in the area. Our tour guide which I am sorry we can't remember her name was so sweet and knowledgeable. It was a fairly hot day but with the windows removed it was very comfortable. Beautiful horses and county side.

We took the 55 min. AAA buggy ride from Kitchen Kettle Village. There were 9 riding, 7 in back and two up front with the guide. It was so pleasant. The guide was so informative. Such a relaxing ride. It was easy to pay and waited about 30 minutes. Great ride into the beautiful country side. Would definitely do this... More

I took my two teenagers on the 35 minute ride, but it ended up being longer than that! It was a beautiful day, and Sarah answered so many questions for us about religion, politics, economics, family life, and her own personal experiences among Amish! We loved the quick stop at an Amish farm for homemade root beer, lemonade, whoopie pies,... More

AAA is located at Kitchen Kettle Village, so park the car and attend both. Buggy seats eight comfortably. Knowledgable and friendly driver took us on a scenic ride of the back roads through farmland. No highway traveling. Saw numerous Amish farmers tending to fields with horse drawn implements. Something about the clap clop rhythmic hoof drop that is soothing to... More
