An Unexpected Gem
Feb 2020
Lovingly curated history and artifacts of Twickenham's past including information about Eel Pie and its famous musical history. Full of unexpected surprises about the town's history through the decades.

Small museum
Nov 2018 • Solo
This really is only two small rooms, but it gives an impression of the history of Twickenham and its surrounding area. The displays are changed regularly. When I visited it was dominated by wall displays about one of the local schools, Kneller School. You only need a short time to go round it. Probably of as much interest is the Georgian house in which it’s located, which is lovely and a classic example of its type.

Could do with more gallery space to display all its stuff. If you are interested in the local area come here. Interesting and committed staff.

Little Museum
Jun 2018 • Friends
This museum probably won't detain you long but it deserves your support as it is run by volunteers and it tells you the story of how Twickenham, Teddington and Whitton developed from little villages in to the suburb they now are. It's worth a look if only to see the extraordinary true story about a Twickenham resident who tried to invent a means of diving in the Thames.
