Beautiful church with stunning Georgian interiors and a history that involves the famous Alexander Pope.

In the area and lots of info about Alexander pope so wanted to visit st. mary’s as where he is buried. The door of the church was locked and the grounds very overgrown, I was very sad .

This is a lovely traditional church with original galleries, pews and decoration. It was being cleaned by volunteers and is obviously much loved - a joy

A great place to visit and say a prayer. There was a fair and also flowers on display. There were Morris dancers and other fun stuff. Usually it coincides with Church Street day, which has food being cooked on the road, and people milling about the river. A fun day.

St. Marys is a grade 2 listed building and is a church of England place of worship. It was consecrated in 1714 and is set on the banks of the River Thames and is built of stone, this church really is a great sight and worth a look.
