A small house but extremely interesting with some quirky touches of information. Visit made all the more interesting as at present some of Turners painting are exhibited in the house.

We pre booked tickets to see 5 paintings being exhibited in the house. They only allow 10 people at a time to visit as the house is small . But well worth visiting if you are a Turner fan . Essential to book beforehand

This was a lovely visit with very helpful, informative volunteer guides. It is a house lovingly restored, where JMW Turner fulfilled his long-held wish to be his own architect. In the vestibule and corridor there are some lovely arches and delicate marbling of the walls,
