Great place to walk to
Aug 2021
Worth the walk to, along the River Thames and a good spot to cross over the river. There are a couple of places to eat and drink (or take a picnic), to while away the afternoon.

Waste of time
Jul 2021 • Friends
Needs a good clean up and landscaping to be classified as a tourist attraction. Seems to be a popular place for dog walkers but not of much interest to anyone else.

As you stroll down the Thames Path this is a lovely place to stop, relax and enjoy all the different craft moored. You can the either walk up or down to continue your adventure and take in what the Thames has to offer.

Wish they were friendly to customers
Oct 2020
Have you ever heard about friendliness? Your product and food is good, but super expensive. Be nice to customers for this price.

A really lovely area to walk along and the footbridge gets you from the charming Thames Riverside path to The Anglers pub, a great venue for food.

Large lock system offering peace and quiet
Mar 2020
A nice riverside spot to boat and people watch away from the hustle and bustle. You can visit as part of a Thames-side walk or a visit to Teddington. We managed to get a car parking space next to the boatyard, but otherwise it might be a bit tricky. The bridge gives a good view of the weir and lock systems and on a nice summer's day you could while the time away watching the world go by. We visited on a cold March day when there wasn't much going on but it was a nice break from the Teddington traffic. There are a few riverside hostelries with beer gardens that I'm sure will be busy when the weather improves

This is a little bit of Heaven an escape down by the river you can walk all the way to Kingston one-way and to Richmond the other through the back you can walk into the woods or walk along under the trees on a hot summer day quieter in the weekdays than the weekend. I'm lucky I live here and can go any time always beautiful

Lovely spot to explore with children
Jan 2020
It is a great spot to visit with children and to watch the lock working.
It is a great spectacle when the chamber gets filled with water and the boats appear or disappear when the camber gets drained. You have to watch out because there no railings everywhere.

Super Sunday stroll
Dec 2019
This is a lovely place to visit and watch the boats negotiate the locks as they move up or down the Thames. We had walked through Bushy Park to Kingston and along the footpath that parallels the river. There is also a cycle path and many cyclists were enjoying a ride. Next to the footbridge there are a couple of pubs, one of them the Tide End, which can provide a warm refuge and source of refreshment.
