GOOD BUT EXPENSIVE.

One of the nicest & well-equipped marinas on the Thames.
Great ambiance & facilities. Loos and showers, of course - but pretty-much everything ‘a boater’ could want or need. Viz. Fuel (petrol & diesel), water & mains electric hook-up, Hundreds of secure moorings mainly on pontoons, Hardstanding, Lakes, Walks, excellent security, Maintenance ( courtesy of “Linden Lewis”- but some in-house, such as crane in & out, pressure-wash & anti fouling ). We pay circa £2,400 per annum to keep a 21’ Motor Cruiser at a berth. Add to that Environment Agency ‘Navigation Licence’ [ £300 + ]. Vessel Insurance { £175 }, Maintenance arising out-of-use & Boat Safety Scheme ( ? ) and you’ll see boat ownership doesn’t come cheap !

Impressive marina
Oct 2019 • Solo
Just the place for messing about in boats, if not on the river, or watching others doing it. This is a big marina, but it has a really friendly feel to it. It’s a big marina with lots of berths, facilities and, importantly also plenty of parking for clients and their visitors.

Looking to purchase a boat
Sep 2018 • Family
This was an initial visit for us to start looking into purchasing a boat for leisure use. The principle was really helpful and took time out of his day to offer advice and give this novice a lot of good general advice. I did not purchase this time but will definitely return spring 2019 to do so. Thank you for your help and guidance.

Not much to say - It's a marina with boats in!

Not much to say - It's a marina with boats in! Worth a look if you are passing but don't go out of your way to do so. If there take a look around Nauticalia - Always an interesting shop with lots of items you may not see elsewhere.

A Great friendly Marina with fantastic links to London
Nov 2017 • Family
This Marina is one of those hidden gems on the Thames. The facilities are in good condition and the only thing they are missing is a clubhouse although there is a Holiday Inn close by.

The setting is tranquil and if the weather is good there is nothing better than sitting on the back deck with a drink and listen to the birds singing.

The marina is close to Walton bridge and is easy sailing to Hampton Court - circa 1.5 to 2hrs or a 4 hour cruise to Windsor if going up river.

There is usually ample parking and good bus and rail links to London. The closest train station is Shepperton but it takes 45mins or more to Waterloo. The best option is to go to Walton on Thames station where you can reach Waterloo in less than 30mins.

All in all a lovely Marina and would be the absolute perfect marina if they had a club house.

Marina in rural settings
Sep 2017 • Couples
Shepperton marina is located off felix Lane in Shepperton and is situated in a backwater between Shepperton and Sunbury locks in a rural setting. It is a working marina that carries out repairs, has sales and showrooms and also a choice of moorings.
