beautiful old Church

This Church has stood for hundreds of years, it is quaint with a small graveyard, note the rest of the graves are situated over the road down cemetery lane.

Beautiful and calm
Jan 2019 • Couples
Set in an old square just a short walk from Shepperton High Street, complete with pub and hotels. The church is beautiful inside, plenty of room with a balcony reached by an outside staircase. Very welcoming and friendly.

Beautiful and unique
Oct 2018 • Couples
This is the most beautiful and peaceful church locally. It is situated in a lovely location near the river with great walks nearby and good pubs/hotels. More importantly, the history of the church is clear to see in the artefacts inside the church, the stained glass windows and the well kept but natural feeling outside in the memorial gardens. The church is often open but you will need to check.

Worth popping in too.

A lovely church; one has been on this site since the 7th century. I love the wooden pews and kneelers that are sadly being replaced in so many churches these days. This church feels well used and loved by its present congregation. Parking must be a nightmare but there is a public car park down the road.

Nice small church
Dec 2017 • Solo
A lovely small but very atmospheric place. Sited in quite a busy square with quite a few hotels/pubs in the immediate area. Parking can get busy outside the church.

Historic church
Sep 2017 • Couples
St. Nicholas church in Shepperton is a lovely looking old church with a clock tower and a real cosy interrior that makes you feel welcome straight away. A church has been on this plot since the 7th century, and the present church was built in 1614 with some excellent architectural features. The clock in the tower dates back to 1769. Great place to come and sit inside to remember others.
