Osterley Park is always a lovely day out. Today the sun was out and the park was pretty empty which gave us lots of space to run around playing football.

A really nice walk around the grounds, lovely main house, public toilets, and some where to eat. The car park is not free, but you can park outside of the grounds.

We just visited the house, and it is a very grand property. It was good to see it mostly as it was styled in the 18th century. Not much of a story here though. The staff were very friendly, funny and knowledgeable. Literally the worst...More

The house is steeped in history your free to walk around the grand floor and a guide take you to the bedrooms on the first floor. There is not a lot to see inside. The price includes the gardens but most of it is park...More

Lemon cake good and tasty. At 2.95 or so not bad. Double Machiato very bad Amongst the worst. Cold and tiny. Why do we have to pay 2.95 for this? Salad ok and pie too hard both overpriced at over 5 pounds. But all in...More

We enjoyed walking through the grounds before having tea and a cake sitting outside the old stable block. There is a large pond with plenty of ducks, and vast grounds which you can walk round. The cafe has a good selection of cakes. We particularly...More

We last visited Osterley House about 30 years ago and back then I remember it was more memorable for the grounds than what was in the house. Now the inside has been redone in the style of Robert Adam who was hired to renovate the...More

I think I enjoyed the gardens most of all as they seemed to be in full bloom. They are close to the house so I was able to go through them and then take my wife in a wheelchair through some of them. There are...More

The website says £7 for parking but it might be best to phone them +442082325050 to be sure. Also, they might then clarify the website.

Not that far as planes can be seen flying overhead at a low height. Heathrow is nearby as the crow or plane flies. So by car it takes longer, but it is worth the journey, and wont take long.
