This is a great National Trust site. The walk around the grounds is fab with or without a dog. Good food from the cafe, lovely little shop and a farm shop open Wednesday to Sunday. What more could you want!

Our dog loved Osterley park. The walk along the river and the little pond at the end is fantastic for dogs that like water and the views are great. There is a mowed lawn that's nice for families and picnics but plenty of space behind that to take a dog off the lead. We finished with tea and cakes from... More

Always intriguing and refreshing to wander this classy NT house and parkland. If you want elegant Age of Reason this for you. Seasonal events for younger kids good too. You are advised to be a NT member to enjoy the free parking otherwise it's a walk from the surrounding streets. Maybe it could be enlivened by an occasional classy visiting... More

Another of Robert Adam's beautiful creation. Well maintained house and well stocked garden. There are also lots of beautiful furniture from China too. The free audio guide provides lots of information about the rooms in the house as well as the talk about its history by the knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended to use the audio guide. This house truly illustrates... More

Visited this country estate in London today being a National Trust member. A magnificent house to see inside showing grand interior in each room designed by Robert Adam in the late 18th century for the Child family. The top floors of the house were a complete contrast to the domestic quarters in the basement. Information booklets available in each room... More

This NT house is in a great location close its Central London but it feels like your out in the countryside, the house is very interesting and you can also walk in the extensive grounds.

Great place to picnic. If you have a dog they enjoy the lake where they can swim. The park has a shop where you can buy fresh farm produce. There is a small restaurant in the park.

Great historical location with good buildings and impressive grounds. Food available from on site eateries or artisan food vans. Part of national heritage trust.

OMG. What a park. What a treat. The Jurassic tour was amazing. The dinosaurs were so realistic Went with my daughter and two grandchildren ( 4 & 2). Went by Tain. Long two train trip but so worth it. Spent all afternoon there. Could of easily been all day. So much to do. The grounds are so beautiful. The huge... More
