Lovely place to visit. Well maintained grounds and paths. House was stunning with very enthusiastic volunteers in each room. Wonderful natural play areas in the woods.

Weather was horrible, but the house and stable cafe made up for it. We didn't really get to experience the grounds and gardens; but the house tour was really excellent, with very knowledgeable guides. We will definitely be revisiting when the sun is shining!!

I've been to a fair few stately homes, and this is one of the least inspiring. The house is limited and dull - there's half a dozen rooms, with the most interesting attraction being some second-rate art. There's the usual team of over-eager volunteers bursting...More

A group of us visited on a pleasant sunny day. As NT members we didn't have to pay but for ordinary visitors prices seemed high. The cafe is your standard NT fare. The house is interesting with Adam interiors but the paintings are decidedly second...More

We often visit as a couple but this venue is equally good for families. The house is well worth a visit but we often go just to walk round the huge park which has a good mix of fields, lakes, formal and kitchen gardens as...More

Sorry, But NO. The attraction is on the grounds, but the house is Nationa Trust. The toilets will be open but everything else you will need to pay for.
