A busy yet also friendly and relaxed day cooking dosa at Monisha's house. I never imagined we would fit so much into the day, and it was lovely to be able to regularly sit down and eat what we had created together - so delicious that we couldn't say no to more, and I think we were all stuffed by the time we left. The dosa themselves (3 different types) were all excellent, and the coconut chutney we made was absolutely delicious, but there was so much more too. So many great dishes to replicate at home. After the class you can visit the huge Indian supermarket near the station and pick up everything that was used in the class, and marvel at the huge variety of spices and pulses they have there.

Had a lovely day learning about varies techniques and putting them into practice. Monisha is very good at explaining and making it fun. Thoroughly enjoyed the day and am looking forward to trying out some of the recipes from one of her books. Would definitely recommend her class for anyone wanting to try something different. Thanks Monisha

I had an wonderful day cooking Indian food with Monisha. A truly friendly group, and I learned a lot about cooking techniques. We made a range of delicious recipes, and I'll definitely be cooking them regularly at home. Monisha is the perfect host and teacher, but best of all it was fun and we had plenty of laughs along the way.

Monisha has a wonderful teaching style, she explains the " whys" of cooking methods, demistifying dishes and techniques that may at first seem daunting to attempt. Together we created a wonderful selection of South Indian vegan and vegetarian dishes and a variety of dosas over the two cooking courses we attended on consecutive days: South Indian vegetarian and Dosa masterclass. A fabulous weekend of seed popping, onion dicing, tamarind squeezing, bean chopping, zest grating, chilli splitting, ginger scraping, dosa crisping, potato boiling, rice spicing - all under our teacher's expert guidance. By the end of the afternoon we were all chatting away in Monisha's bright and welcoming kitchen whilst tucking into the delicious masala dosas we had cooked together. Looking forward to booking onto another of Monisha's culinary journeys!

I attended Monisha's South Indian Vegetarian course and had an excellent experience. Monisha is a brilliant teacher with a great sense of humour. I learnt to make delicious dishes that I know I will make again as they are easy and adaptable. It was lovely to be in a small class (5 people) cooking together. I will definitely be booking more courses
