I visited yesterday with my daughter and two small grandchildren. We all had a great time. The kids were able to run around safely and loved feeding the sheep and goats. They loved the playground too. All the staff were friendly especially the lady who served us in the cafe , I think her name was Alice, nothing was too much bother for her. We will definitely visit again soon.

A real farm where you can get close to the animals and feed them.

Reasonably priced (2 adults 3 kids and 5 bags of food £32). Small but enough to see and do for a couple of hours. Muddy if wet and not a lot of inside area so dress warm! Never overcrowded.

Lots of sheep, goats, birds, more sheep, llama things, emus, rabbits, pigs, horses, donkeys.

No inside play while Covid restrictions rule but instead theyre doing a new meet the animals set up. Family groups get to go and handle a few animals (chinchilla, gerbil, chicken thing etc). We loved this and thought it was much better than the bouncey castle noone ever used! Really enjoyed the information from the staff, i genuinely learned a few things.

Sadly i think most people are now conditioned to expect a glorified soft play with some animals when they visit a farm. This is not what you'll get at hounslow urban farm. Its not pretty or posh but the animals look happy and the staff are enthustic for them.

Urban Farm came to visit our reception and Nursery classes. The animal experts were kind and so friendly with the children. They shared amazing facts and the hands on experiences of the children with the animals will be remembered for a long time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommended the Urban farm for a roadshow visit to your school.

Purchased some tickets when they were planning to reopen after lockdown easing, sadly it never happened. I havent even been emailed that the place is still closed; we found out once in front of the gate with purely disappointed kids. Till now Im keep on being ignored to get my money back. Every time Im trying to contact them I get a reply they will get back to me asap. And its been like that for 4 months already. If they will ever reopen we defo wont go there anymore. Its not a big amount of money though, but a big shame how they treat customers. We have been there before many times, happy to support local buisness; it looks like the place got locked for good however they still fail to update their customers and supporters.

Really shocked at how all the animals are kept in such small areas. With the rainy weather we’ve had it was horrible to see a lot of the animals knee deep in mud. Surely there should be contingency plans for the animals in extreme weather conditions? Poor things. ☹️

Came today last minute before heading back up north. It has been brilliant.

It reminds me of a proper farm. Lots of animals to see and feed goats, sheep, alpacas. There's donkeys, pigs and lots of birds.

The play area is very traditional, my little boy loved it, climbing and jumping, running and playing.
We went to the small animal encounter where my little boy got to hold some insects and reptiles, the staff are very knowledgeable and made it a fun safe place for us to get up close and personal with the animals!

Fantastic morning, would highly recommend!

A cute little farm. Horses, sheep, goats, tortoises, rabbits etc and even axelotyl. I lost a bet to my daughters as I thought they don't exist but they really do and now I've seen them.
There's a little cafe and sometimes a burger van and a great gift shop. You can feed the animals too which is sweet.

I don't understand what is brilliant about this place based on reviews. For kids might be fun as they don't know how it should be.I don't want to support place where animals are not looked after properly, where staff is not friendly and doesn't handle animals with care( animal encounter). All place look so old and tired, animals need more food too.Avoid this place at all costs.

Visited here last Friday. Signing to Farm is good and I found it easily. Car parking is in an adjacent field.

We had won a family ticket to the farm in a local raffle and tried to show this at the entrance. The entrance kiosk was shut, although there were people inside. Another group of mums and children were also trying to pay to enter, but with little success. This was 25 minutes after the official opening time. Entrance fee is £7.50 for an adult which, in the light of our subsequent visit, seems a lot.

As we had a free ticket we decided to enter. The farm is very ramshackle, with pens made of old bits of anything, pallets, wire frames, etc. No-one spoke to us during our entire visit. Not much in the way of level surfaces either for those not so good on their legs.

The sheep, goats, donkeys and alpacas all looked relatively happy, as did the many chickens. However, when we arrived at the pigs, these didn't look so good. They are very large pigs and one of them clearly had a foot problem, finding it very difficult to put any weight on one of his rear legs and appearing in some distress. Another pig, this time in a sty, seemed to coughing very badly, and did not look very well.

Smaller animals also seemed to fair less well. A solitary chipmunk in a cage engaged in repetitive behaviour, which i understand shows boredom and a lack of stimulation. A cage of peacocks appeared to contain a lot of these large birds for the space available and a number of owls appeared to be on their own in various cages.

No doubt someone will come on here and tell me I am wrong in all of this, but I only see what i see. We left disappointed and unimpressed after only being on site for 40 minutes. Maybe we just caught it on a bad day.

Disappointing. We expected much more from animal encounter experience.Everything seemed rushed and chaotic.Animal encounter shouldn't be placed at the same place with children playground, there was so much noise and nobody couldn't hear girl on the mic who introduced animals.Uninterested voulunteers showed animals around but they kept missing people, so in the end not everyone got the chance to hold or touch animals. All this seem stressing for animals, and the way staff hold animals wasn't the best, I actually felt sorry for them, clearly nobody shouldn't pull lizards tale the way they did, they handled all animals so rough( lizards and snakes especially)Whole place seem unsupervised and they should have more staff or volunteers there, for example people kept feeding animals that shouldn't be fed.The rest of the farm is not so bad but first impression wasn't well.We won't be back, shame as we expected more from this place.
