Visited these lovely gardens on a very hot day in late July. We walked there along the Celandine trail from Pinner, a lovely route that connects together green spaces.
The highlight is the walled garden. In late July this is a mass of colour with roses, hollyhocks, and very varied perennial planting.
There are several historic buildings from the house (sadly lost) including a 17th century stables block (used for community events) and dovecot. The gardens have a cafe which is open in the morning and early afternoon (closes 3pm - toilets only open when cafe open).
The gardens also have a quite newly planted orchard of apples and pears; a small rock garden; some topiary and wildflower border. There are wide areas of lawn, with some interesting trees - which go down to Field End road. These make a lovely spot for a picnic. There is also a large meadow, reached by crossing a bridge on the River Pinn - a pretty and cool spot on a hot day. The planting makes the whole gardens very peaceful, blocking out noise from traffic.

Eastcote House Gardens are now a valued green space with many reminders of its previous life as the gardens of a manor house.
The walled garden remains intact, and unusually is planted rather than grassed over. The bricks are of all different ages, some even medieval and has been repaired many times, making it difficult to date. In March, it is full of colour with daffodils, primroses, grape hyacinths and the first blossom on the fruit trees. In one corner, the dovecote is a focal point. The walled garden is locked overnight, in March at 5pm. The dovecote is only open on special events.
Behind the walled garden is an orchard which is now 12 years old, and the trees have settled in and matured. The first pear blossom is just coming out. Next to the cafe is a rock garden and some more formal flower beds. It also has the most striking feature in March, a large, flowering cherry. The rest of the garden is open throughout the day with many fine trees and large lawns. In March the lawns have clumps of daffodils. The river Pinn flows through the garden, with a bridge over to a meadow beyond.
There are toilets only when the cafe is open - until 3pm. There is limited parking. There is a bus stop for the 282 and H13 outside the church on Field End Road. It takes about an hour to look around, and if you are travelling from further away, it could be combined with a longer walk along the Celandine trail or in Ruislip woods.

What a lovely place to come and soak up some sun, chill out and relax.
Never knew this place existed until today, when my friend brought me here.
The gardens are beautifully kept and the walled garden a little piece of tranquility.
Good on site parking makes life easy.
A great place to chill and relax.

Unfortunately unable to review because this newly opened café, despite advertising being open on a Sunday from 10am to 4pm, appeared to be closed this Sunday at 11.30am. Not a sign in sight indicating where the café is, so perhaps I missed it despite walking around the newly renovated café and toilet area a couple of times. I am baffled! Put some signage up café, or don't advertise you open on a Sunday if you don't!

These relatively small walled gardens are to be replanted in the autumn and I look forward to seeing them develop. As a local I am delighted to see the addition of the cafe and also some limited car parking. The cafe was open and thriving today and I have to say what we had was very good value - we shared a pannini - generous portions with salad and lovely home made cake for afters. Will definitely be back.

One of my favourite local places with amazing walled garden close to some lovely walks. Flower garden looks it’s best from April to July but is still looking gorgeous with the late summer plants

We came here on the first sunny day in April and sat outside the cafe which was lovely. We ordered some lunch. The paninis were pricey but well worth it with nice fresh side salad and great service. The hot chocolates were really well made and I know from previous experience that the cakes are really good too! We went for a walk in the walled gardens and were going to head down to the wooden play area and river but it was very boggy due to recent downpours. I visit here often though I usually park in residential roads nearby as car park is very small. Long fields over the river to play in and you can follow the path all the way to Pinner.

Do you have to book to pay a visit to the garden

what is the parking time limit at The Stables Eastcote House Gardens
Written October 7, 2017
There is no time limit. If you find a space it's yours for as long as you want it. Two disabled spaces, too, with, relatively, disproportionate and unnecessary, amounts of space.

Parking at The Stables Eastcote house gardens
Written October 7, 2017
Limited parking on site. Across the road there is a PUB, The Case is Altered and a Cricket Club opposite, between the 2 there is a narrow road called Southill Lane where you can park.

Apart from the beautiful gardens and the lovely cafe, what is there for four children aged 4 to 7 to do here? It sounds like it's a nice place for adults.
Written August 6, 2017
There isn't a climbing frame or anything particularly for children, but there are plenty of green open spaces to run around in, trees to hide behind etc. There is a little stream as well, so plenty of ways for children to entertain themselves.
