Fell upon this little gem whilst spending a week on the East Coast. Signposted as 'Animal Park' we weren't sure what to expect but ended up spending six hours there! The hands on experience with a range of animals from Elvis the Python to Billy the wandering goat, from very friendly llama to very muddy pigs was particularly enjoyed by... More

This little gem is such a fantastic place to have a few hours of good non tech fun with the family. We were on holiday with 3 of our Grandchildren, aged 7, 12, 14. They enjoyed it so much as did my Wife and I. We did the Wallaby feeding, pigs and sheep and goat feeding and the alpacas and... More

Enjoyed a lovely afternoon with my friend. When this has been thoroughly updated it will be excellent. We enjoyed the flying display and the staff were very knowledgeable. There are also a couple of shops to visit if you cannot bear to be without retail therapy. The cafe serves mid priced fare. It could do with a renovation and update... More

Visited here without really knowing what to expect. There isn't a large amount of animals but from what I understand they are all rescue animals. My daughter got to hold an owl and we were pleased to find out that the Owls are allowed to fly around and not kept in cages all day. Lady on reception was very helpful... More

Really enjoyable day. Bought for my sons 8th birthday and went along with his sister, aged 6 and myself. Another lady joined us on the experience (only do max 4 people which is nice) which lasted over 3 hours. All of us got to handle the birds of prey after the display, then went onto feed the meerkats, wallaby's &... More

So much more to see than we expected. We'd planned to spend an hour or two and go on elsewhere, but ended up staying all afternoon until closing time. The cafe at the Park Rose site was unprepossessing in appearance, but the food was very good. Once inside the animal park we watched flying displays and were able to handle... More

Called here as found it on internet, apparently been here 1 years but not under this owner ship. Chap has recently bought this centre which is a bit run down but the enthusiasm and knowledge of this chap is fantastic. He grew up with in a zoo environment and is very knowledgeable on his birds of prey giving a good... More
