Pot House Hamlet is just perfect for a few hours with a toddler. We regularly come here in all weather and times of years. We feed the llamas and chickens, watch the ducks and goats and wander around the garden centre. When it's hot we grab an ice cream and have a walk. Now the deli is open, we also... More

Took the kids here yesterday to see Santa a nd was a fantastic experience. Plenty of time to sit down with Santa and his Elf and have a lovely chat. The kids and us loved it. Not rushed, lovely. The chickens, goats and other attractions on the site are all worth a vsit. Lovely place.

When your 7 year old granddaughter expresses a wish for a hydrangea, it's not something you expect to find easily in December. But this excellent garden centre found me two, pruned them into shape and repotted them while I ambled round buying things I hadn't gone in for! A fascinating place with superb customer service.

Lovely place to visit, had a little petting section with lovely friendly animals. The garden centre had some lovely plants. Also selling lovely Christmas trees. Best of all was Ruperts pet shop with all kinds of quality goodies for the pets. Most areas are dog friendly.

A colleague & I decided to go out to lunch. As neither of us had ever eaten here, we decided that we'd take the drive out. We sat down on a table overlooking the stream (& resident moor hens/swans etc) and were promptly handed menu boards. Plenty of choice for both vegetarian & non-vegetarian on all options; I went for... More

We called after failing to get into food fair at Cannon Hall (massive queues ) Parking was fairly easy, seemed to be plenty going on. Ice cream stall, cafes, deli, Garden centre + Kids petting area. Walked round garden centre, initial impression was good, but on walking through greenhouse, plants seemed tired and wilting, next large greenhouse half empty and... More
