    Magical Christmas Experience
What a great experience! My 4 year old son loved it and so did I! There’s so many areas to experience, keeping the kids engaged and not getting bored. There’s something for everyone! The staff were brilliant, really friendly and made an effort to speak to everyone in each area visited. The kids left happy having decorated and eaten their own gingerbread man, hot chocolate, stuffed their own teddy and of course their gift from Santa!

    Amazing Children’s Party!
We recently had a large kids party here and it couldn’t have been better. The party coordinators were amazing, particularly Chloe and with such a big group (23). First the kids get to hold and pet small animals. Then they were provided with carrots to feed the larger animals. The birthday boy and his cousins were also allowed to groom the ponies. The kids were then treated to a tractor ride and free time to play in the play area before lunch and birthday cake. Lunch was well organised and all the many dietary requirements were managed perfectly! Parents could either join the children or had the option to wait in the tea rooms with a brew. The party price includes entry for 1 child and 1 adult. We have always loved Reddish Vale Farm but now we love it even more. A wonderful party at a wonderful venue.

    Lovely visit- Great staff.
Visited yesterday with my great niece aged 3 years. We were able to book on the mid week, term only special. It was quiet as most children in school . We had a lovely time. The staff were great, really friendly, very talkative giving information about all the animals. Children can handle the rabbits and guines pigs as well as feed the bigger animals. A member of staff was walking around with a baby goat for the children to stroke. There was pony brushing available for a short time. We used the inside play area as well as the climbing frames and trampolines outside . The tractor driver was also really kind and made the children laugh. There are plenty of washing facilities . We took a picnic but used the catering van for drinks and ice creams. A great few hours.

    School holidays day out
Tried the farm for the 1st time yesterday and I was amazed at how big it was ,plenty for the kids to do and they loved it ,lots of parking on our day but not sure on a really busy day, price was good for the amount of time you get to stay ,plus you can take your own food to save money but there is food on sale at a reasonable price . What I liked was there were plenty of places to sit down and rest if like myself your mobility isn't too good .kids have asked me can we go again in the next school holidays and I said YES even I loved being able to get hands on with the animals ❤️ also I must point out there were loads of taps to wash hands after feeding the animals ,toilets were clean . I would definitely recommend the farm if you have children. Thanks for a great day out

    Highly recommended
Took my three year old daughter here for the first time. She loves it, as did I. I have been to different farms over the years with my other two children who are now older. This farm is by far the best I have been to. Lovely, friendly staff. Loads to do and lovely to see the goats roaming around free. Big outdoor and indoor play also. Will definitely be returning.

We have been when the ticket prices were cheaper and it was okay for what you payed then a good few hours to kill with the kids. Now the ticket prices have rocketed too 9 pound an adult and 9 pound a child. Its not worth the extra money to pay compared to other places you can visit for the same prices and make a day out of it. In my opinion not suitible for the average working family but i would sugest going once to make up your own opinion. It is a lovely place i just think its too expensive for what it is. You can visit the animals at heaton park for free and have a great day

Didn’t like that you only had 2.5 hours - it all felt unbelievably rushed and v v over priced. Attractions, including indoor play, closed early at 350pm, staff shouting at customers to leave
Full price for one year olds, same as a nine year old and adults despite the fact they can’t enjoy half of it. Tractor rides added cost
Very overpriced for what you get especially when closed early.
Ice cream van was cash only, unusual post covid. Fast food van totally not in keeping with family friendly day out. Not a healthy meal in sight.
Manager not available to discuss was in all day meetings (at closing time on a Sunday). I’ve emailed my feedback and not had a reply, I’ve followed up and not had any reply - speaks volumes.
Don’t waste money going here, opt for a venue that strives to keep customers happy and actually cares about feedback .

Wow, I don’t know whether I can find the words to truly express how much of an amazing day we had with my two young daughters (ages 1 & 4). We all had the best day out we’ve had in a long time. I’ve visited the park 6 times in total since my eldest was a baby and each time we’ve been they’ve made more improvements. They are always finding ways to better the farm, and they really do succeed with it.

The staff are AMAZING! I can even go as far as saying when we visited yesterday, the staff were the best team we’ve ever met on any family day out. They were all amazing with the children. My youngest was walking round saying “quack quack” and this lovely young lad went and got a duck out for her to stroke. She was in her element, every time I show her the photos she sits and gets giddy. He even came to find me when they were letting you handle the rabbits!

At the age of 29 baby goats are my favourite, well I nearly exploded with excitement when I was given the chance to hold one. I looked like a kid at Christmas!

I can truly say Reddish Vale Farm is the best family day out, it’s amazing for all ages, the park is fantastic, the staff are the best you’ll find. We can’t wait to come back!!!!

We took our grandchildren and checked the website prices: 2 seniors and 2 children ÂŁ38 priced on website. It did say on the website that it could be a little more on special days. It actually cost ÂŁ56 which they later justified because the children could win an Easter egg. These eggs are not even ÂŁ2 to buy. We think this is very poor value for money - a complete rip-off!

The farm is lovely with lots to do but the change to only being able to book in for half a day has spoiled it for us. Felt like everything was rushed and the range of activities was pointless as we didnt have enough time to enjoy them. For ÂŁ9 per person I expect a full day out so would advise another of the petting farms in the area instead.

Tickets are way over priced for the experience received. Too many people are booked into each session making the event very impersonal and results in too much waiting around. Visitors are herded off in two different directions so kids work out there is more than one Santa. Kids only get to meet Santa in front of a large group so there is no opportunity for kids to talk to Santa, it’s just a rushed, over-priced photo before being ushered out.

I wouldn’t book here again. Felt really disappointed when we left.

Great family trip out. Lots of animals to feed and rabbits etc. for the kids to hold and stroke. Staff are really friendly and great with kids. Animal feed is dead cheap and the food (sandwiches, wraps, baps, ice cream, soft drinks) all really reasonable. The ice cream place was cash only when we were there, so worth taking a bit of cash, but animal feed and other food was payable with card. Tractor rides, kids play etc. is all free of charge once you’re in. Will be going back!!

It was my son's 6th birthday party at Reddish Vale Farm yesterday. It was really great from start, when the children arrived and each received a lovely animal mask, to the finish. It is such a varied party destination with the animals, tractor ride, a great large outdoor play area and lovely decorated party room. Chloe the party host was really amazing, entertaining 10 excited children with the animals and animal facts, leading them from section to section injecting fun and memorable moments all the way. The farm itself is lovely and clean and spacious, and really helpful with allergies and children's food and drink preferences. Thank you all at Reddish Vale Farm and Chloe for such an amazing party!

This is one of the first trips out I've had with my son. He is 10 months old but of course, lockdown has stopped us doing much so far as he wasn't really old enough to go on days out before.

I was incredibly impressed with the farm. It was big enough to fill half a day out with him but not too big that it felt overwhelming. The staff were all lovely and friendly and it just felt like such a welcoming place to be. You really felt like the employees loved working there and they certainly seemed really happy to be back open.

I'm still trying to stop my nerves when we go out places but I need not have worried as the place was so welcoming and easy. No problems social distancing either.

Great value for money too. I really can't wait to come back and I imagine it'll be a regular spot for us. I'd have liked to stay longer and have a longer play on the swings etc with baby so I should have brought a picnic!

Absolutely amazing Halloween event. Very well organised and family friendly. Every member of staff went above and beyond to ensure every child was having a good time. The Halloween show and the staff interacting with the children was perfect. My daughter loved chatting to the staff that were dressed up and they took their time and listened to her, she felt so special thank you
