A lovely spot for a morning or afternoon out, so peaceful yet so near the centre of Stockport and Reddish. Lots of bird-life on the reservoirs. It's an easy hour's stroll from the end of Stockport precinct, a bit less if you start near Tesco...More

I can't believe this is acceptable to any disabled visitor. Huge metal security gates that make it inaccessible to disability scooter. Don't waste your time trying to get in. The staff can't help open any gates either.

I loved this country park and will be visiting again shortly. Great for cycling, walking and enjoying some beautiful nature spots. Within the park, you feel you are miles away from suburbia and the surroundings are peaceful and beautiful. I wish I went years ago!

Good place to see a wide variety of birds, and wander around the lakes. Has a centre to grab a tea and is always full of dog walkers. Starts just outside town centre.

After Sunday lunch we popped here for a wonder. Really is a peaceful place - can take it in your own stride and get away for some fresh air.

Hi Yes the parking is free down at the bottom of the hill near the pond. The best way in is to drive by the side of Reddish Vale School.
