Fantastic experience on the Flying Scotsman! The staff were friendly and helpful. The conductor was funny and very friendly and stayed in our carriage with us for the whole journey. The period platforms at Bury have a nice atmosphere.

We booked in advance for a Saturday afternoon trip from Bury to Rawtenstall on the Flying Scotsman and really enjoyed it. The weather was warm and sunny and we got some great photos of the engine.
