This was a bar my twin brother Stephen and I visited on our recent trip to New Brighton, a bar we really enjoyed chilling out in.
The bar looks nice,its big ,there's a bowling alley complex here and pool tables and an arcade ,nice decor and furnishings including a superb looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar, all in all not a bad bar indeed.
We were here on a Saturday afternoon, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of the staff, we gave our details of name and phone number to assist with the governments track and trace system and then sanitised our hands, we got a beer each ,these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back and took in the great bar we were in.
My beer eas excellent, light, hoppy and freezing cold, on a hot afternoon it was just what we needed 🍻.
We both really enjoyed our beers in here and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit to here we had a great time.
This bar is easy to locate along the promenade and housed in the Riverside Bowling complex.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Sunday, Midday till 10pm.
A great bar,one I highly recommend you visit if you're in the area.

Too hot in the bowling alley an the pool table. It gets uncomfortable. My ball got stuck about 6 times in one night. The pin
setter kept getting pins stuck in there. So it would set and not all the pins were upright. Really disappointing and will be going elsewhere for bowling. Extremely rude staff, especially the kids behind the bar. I asked multiple members of staff what time they closed, but they didn't know?! We kept getting dirty from barstaff and the men that work here. No idea what time they close, we took the dirty looks as cue to leave. We spent upto a £100 that night too just on two people, bowling, drinking and playing pool. We will be going elsewhere

Really lovely venue! Private parking right outside. Friendly and welcoming staff.
£27 for a family of three for 2 games in a Friday night - I think that’s very reasonable.
Drinks and food not overpriced at all. Nice little arcade for the children after.
Remaking nice find on route to Liverpool. Wish it was lighter and less windy so we could see the lovely outdoors too on the prom.
Will revisit when in the area next

We visited here for birthday celebrations. We had a lovely time, except for the pins kept falling over on all 3 games. We were on Lane 4. Our drinks took half an hour to arrive after i made enquiries about it, it wasn't showing up on their system as being ordered. I spoke to a lovely staff member, who went out of his way to get these drinks to us. Thank you for your lovely service with a smile too. 🙂
The bowling alley side, could really do with some TLC, the floor was very lumpy, i tripped over due to the way the flooring is. Perhaps also fix whats causing the pins to fall over everytime. It doesn't happen at other bowling places i go to, so it's obviously an issue that can be fixed.

My little boy had his 9th birthday party here and we weren’t disappointed. The party host, Jess was absolutely brilliant with us and the kids and couldn’t do enough for us. Customer service from her was second to none. The kids had a great time and seemed to be really happy with the food, drinks and laserquest playtime.

Place packed no social distancing virtually no one wearing a face covering. You are bowling 50cm from the next table and sharing the same balls. Was asked why we weren’t wearing bowling shoes. Seriously that should be the least of your worries given the current situation. No ventilation

Horrendous waste of money. Too cramped with no proper ventilation. Unclean. Food cold and well over an hour wait for it as did people around us. Unhelpful and awkward staff. Don’t bother- spend your money elsewhere.

I was absolutely appalled by the treatment I received from the duty manager Rebecca. Her pompous attitude was distinctly lacking in customer care. When repeating her words back to her and her hearing how ridiculous it sounded she walked away and refused to engage in any dialogue. The rest of the staff looked embarrassed by her actions.
I have been attending this establishment twice a week for the last month and have received impeccable service. Such a shame to have such draconian middle management structure.

I recently visited this establishment whilst on holiday from bonny Scotland. I am an elderly 84 year old pensioner and a delightful young woman named Rebecca was very helpful empathic when helping me pick bowling shoes for my particularly wide feet.
I have recommended this place to all my friends back home at the bingo.

Went here today 1 adult and 1 child to play. Mother in law came but was not playing as she has both hands in straps. Gave names in for game as Nanna/Emily and then my name. Receptionist Rebecca asked for our shoe sizes so I gave her mine and my Daughter's. She then turned to my Mother in law and asked for her size to which I said she wasn't playing. She then turned to my Mother in law and said that as her name was alongside my Daughters name if she is seen playing she would have to 'get out'. I again repeated she wasnt playing and that my Daughter likes her Nannas name next to hers like a 'Team Name'. She was really snotty again repeating if she is seen on the lane she will be 'taken out' and we would have to leave. I eventually turned around and said 'have you seen her hands they are in straps does it look like she can pick up a ball let alone play'. She said 'it doesn't matter if your seen bowling you will be told to get off'. We then went to our lane - lane 12. During the game the lane encountered numerous problems i.e. no skittles coming down or skittles falling but no other lane had these problems. Need proper customer care training because Rebecca's attitude was atrocious!!
