This was another of our U3A (University of the 3rd Age) tours expertly organised by one of our members. As a virtual teetotaller I didn't have a lot of interest in the end product but I still found the tour excellent. The first part of...More

Came here expecting a bigger museum and the chance to go on a tour. We were wrong. The vistor center in the brewery is not very big, meaning there is not much to see and do. It is more of a shop and a bar...More

We went on this tour knowing a reasonable amount about beer (or drinking it anyway) and not really knowing what to expect. It turned out to be a great experience. The tour was thorough but entertaining, our guide Jim clearly knew his stuff and was...More

Four of us did this tour with Luci, who was absolutely brilliant, it was informative and enjoyable, and a great way to spend a couple of hours. Would really recommend even to non beer drinkers!

Went for my birthday. Was great. They take you around where they make the barrels (cooperage?), where they make the signs with gold leaf and where the shire horses are which deliver beer to pubs in a few miles radius I can’t remember what they...More

Enjoyed a brilliant brewery tour with Jim. It was interesting, informative and I learnt a few things I didn't know about beers ad brewing. The unique sign painting and on-site Shire horse teams were a fun addition too. It was great to have a knowledgeable...More

Dogs are allowed in the Visitor Centre but are not permitted on Brewery tours or in The Harness Room Bar (the Visitor Centre has plenty of seating & drinks are served there too).
