Voted in 2011 'Wiltshire's No.1 Golf Course'and rated in the top 100 in England. There are some stunning tee shots and none more so than the opening drive, says Andy Ryan, Golf Professional at the course. Played by Retief Goosen and Luke Donald, who said " The Manor House is a truly stunning course and I will definitely be coming back".

We are members and enjoy playing on Sunday's when can follow the game with a jolly good meal and extremely reasonable price. There is always a Sunday roast but I always have the chicken Caesar salad which I consider one of the very best. All this whilst looking out onto this simply beautiful course.

Great challenge for the amateur, with tee positions to suit relevant level of competence. Friendly pro shop staff, but there wasn't a warm feeling in the rest of the clubhouse.

Dear Gerard B, Thank you for your feedback. Sorry to hear your comments about the Clubhouse, very disappointing as the team have won awards in the past for their friendliness. I hope we see you playing the course another time soon. Best regards, Stephen More

Taken out for the day by suppliers. Wow! What a beautiful course. Buggy's are a must! Some very tricky holes but all in a picturesque setting. Will be back very soon

We played here twice over the masters weekend. We found the course and staff to be excellent , from the welcome from the pro shop staff , to the guy serving the excellent sausage rolls to the bar staff. The course was in excellent condition considering the rain. There were a few winter tees due to heavy rain but it... More

Some unique holes which take full advantage of the undulating terrain. A buggy is a must as there are walks between some of the holes and many changes in level. Got round in 3.5 hours with no hold ups. Greens were in good condition despite the heavy winter rains and the bunkers though firm, were playable. Clubhouse provides reasonably prices... More

I just love this medieval village Castle Combe where the Manor House is situated. The Manor House is a luxurious and one of those ones with pomp and luxury. I've been here twice for my official Christmas celebration. I remember the food being excellent on both the instances. They have a beautiful Golf Course as well which unfortunately couldn't be... Great fun course taking you through the gorgeous Wiltshire country side. Having a buggy is a must some of the walks between holes are long and steep. The club house is friendly and does a cracking breakfast.

Never tire of playing here it is beautiful, set in rolling valleys at the foot of the Cotswolds. Good clubhouse serving quality food, great breakfast. The course is brilliant in summer but does get a little wet in winter but the greens are always good and true. Note you must get a buggy because of some long hilly walks between... More

This is an excellent golf course, beautifully presented and thoughtfully designed. Beware, however, walking it is not for the faint hearted as there are many height changes and some fair walks from green to tee. They have a 4 bedroom lodge at the the clubhouse which is modern and comfortable but more suited to same sex groups as there are... More
