A night out isn’t just about the music. There also needs to be a clean environment, decent toilets, fairly priced drinks and visitors served as quickly as members. The Trades Club only manages to get the music right.

Went to listen to seafret last Friday. What a time capsule this venue is. Hold around 200 people and with the seating arrangements along the walls and open space in front on the stage this is a hidden gem. Great bar and proper ale selection....More

Small gig venue in Hebden Bridge. Great value tickets for Ash. Reasonably priced drinks and Thai food served in addition. The place is a bit tired and s couple of the bar staff eere as miserable as sin but well worth a gig visit.

Great place for gigs. A place that punches above its weight in getting superb acts. All accompanied by a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and real ales. What’s not to like.

The Trades is a small quirky local venue that feels like it’s been doing what it does since god was a child. Legendary bands as well as the obscure and infamous. Great acoustics, inexpensive drinks and friendly staff. Nothing posh or showy but not quite...More

I’ve been here a few times and have a soft spot for it’s no frills quirkiness. Last time the air conditioning pumped out the smell of Rogan Josh. This time it wasn’t working on a hot June evening. Pools of sweat from band and audience...More

Gets some great bands, but it's very run down. Smells, and has filthy, ripped seats. No working sink in the women's toilets when we were there, so women were having to go into the men's to wash their hands!! Also, with a it being a...More

There are some booths around the side. There’s also a seating area in the bar.

Park at the station, 5min walk to venue and the trades club bar is a great meeting place, you can not get any closer and they serve a good selection of proper ales.
