There is a nice library in the Boccaccio house. One of the three top early renaissance Italian writers, author of the Decameron, if you are a litt passionate you will want to read all his books. I would have liked a guided tour but I...More

If you haven't read The Decameron yet, you will want to do so after this visit. I got the impression that much of the house has been redone, but it was still nice. Best part: the tower. What a great view from the top!

That we still have the glorious tower for glorious vistas and the house of Boccaccio itself is a minor miracle as it was indirectly bombed during the Second World War and suffered significant damage. Here we have a fascinating library with generous bi-lingual tidbits in...More

not too exciting anyway. Nothing that you don't know already. I would have expected more original pieces of furniture.
