Barefoot Surf did an excellent job! From the traveling to the surfing, Barefoot has everything planned to perfection. We loved our experience and the people behind it. And we’re better surfers! Mahalo, Barefoot! We will book again!

Had a great time, will be back. The people that work for Barefoot are absolutely amazing. Super friendly, encouraging, and totally knowledgeable about everything about surfing. Getting to know the Barefoot people and the local surf coaches was one of the best parts of the week. My 13 year old and me were up on a board on day 1 and it only got better from there. The villa we stayed at was great, had an awesome breakfast waiting for us every morning. If you want to learn how to surf, this is the place to go.

I am 67 and a non-surfer my wife is 55 and a Non swimmer; They took excellent care of us. We felt safe and learned how to surf. They fed us gourmet breakfasts and surprised us with yoga and an excellent restaurant overlooking the ocean. It was a beautiful experience!

Just completed Barefoots Surf Camp in Nicaragua last week. I am not one to book organized trips, I usually try and figure things out on my own. But I could not have been happier I committed to this one. It was amazing! The beaches were beautiful and the waves were great. The accommodations were beautiful as well. We had a huge open air living room/dining room area with an infinity pool that we all loved. The breakfasts were incredible every morning with fresh fruit, banana bread, eggs, smoothies, sausage and more. The coaching team showed us fun restaurants in town, and spent time getting to know us all as a group. You could tell they were passionate about surfing and about sharing their passion with us. They were a great team, fun and energetic. They were just as excited as we were about all of our successes on the waves. They partnered with wonderful local Nicaraguan coaches that made our experience in their beautiful country even more authentic as we got to know them throughout the week. The instruction with video analysis was unbeatable. I learned so much, and saw huge gains in my surfing. There was so much I loved about this trip. So go ahead and book your trip with Barefoot soon! You won't regret it.

Want to thank the Barefoot Team for an amazing experience! The team and fellow travelers are amazing people and I hope to cross paths again! I attended the Nicaragua retreat. If you’re an intermediate surfer who has struggled with progressing, this trip is for you! The combination of video analysis, in water coaching, and surf theory classes has pushed my surfing to the next level. The coaches were able to break down my deficiencies and give me drills and things to work on. Saw a jump in improvement from my first to last surf session! The coaches give you the tools to take home to continue to improve. After a few sessions back in the water in San Diego, I was surfing quicker with more confidence! I knew exactly what to work on! Grateful for my time there!
