I signed up for a week of 4hr daily classes. It was amazing! The one on one instruction is incredible. I had no prior Spanish lessons, so Vanessa was very patient, but pushed me to learn the most that I could. I highly recommend LASS and the whole staff. They were very organized, professional and thorough. The location is very... More

I found this school on Internet and decided for it on the ground of very good reviews and also they answered all my questions per email very quickly. It turned out, that the decision couldn't have been better. I was visiting spanish lessons one week, I had 4 hours every day, I came with some knowledge and I think I... More

Every year I take my children to a different Spanish speaking country where we have adventures and they attend either a Spanish immersion camp or Spanish lessons. We have been to Costa Rica (twice), Spain and Mexico. My children (ages 9 and 11) said that this school was by far the best and they learned the most! With so many... More

One week intensive with homestay. Teaching started immediately, even when I went in to just check things out. I feel great now that i can have some limited conversations. One on one lessons were a good mix of reading, writing, pronunciation and comprehension. My teacher was very funny.good vibes in the classroom, some joking around but serious about proper pronunciation... More

I checked out some other language schools in San Juan del Sur, but I choose for Latin American Spanish School because they seemed the most professional and had the most experienced teachers. I was very happy with my decision! I did a 3 week course (5 days a week, 4 hours a day private classes) and it was the fastest... More

My daughter and I took Spanish lessons at LASS in February 2016. We had one on one instructions and since my daughter had a bit of Spanish language knowledge her lessons were at a different pace than my own. We found both of our teachers incredibly patient and enjoyed how they improvised with language games that my daughter and i... More

I took only one week of class (5x4 hours) in combination with a homestay. My review of the classes would be worth 5 points, with a great teacher (Vanessa), which gave me a very good start in Spanish! However the homestay was very bad. It was no homestay, but staying in a family home. I lived in their home and... More

I cannot recommend LASS enough! After originally planning on a weeks worth of classes I ended up staying for 3. My teacher, Lorgia, was fantastic, very patient and always made sure I had grasped a concept before moving forward at a pace that suited me. If I had the time I would have definitely stayed for longer. I took the... More
