It's a long way from Jingling (2 1/2 hours by car). Has a skyway - basically elevated rope bridges for extra 100 yuan, kids said it was ok. You also get a brief ride up the Mekong river in a boat with Mandarin commentary. Some...More

This is a beautiful place, but concur with one reviewer that noted its distance from other places. Come here in the afternoon after you have visited another place in the morning. If they would move all the people selling things and the performances to the...More

Very expensive entrance tickets for what it offers. And don't bother for 'interpreters' soliciting you inside the park. There is nothing to translate or interpret. Also, too many hawkers hassle you with soliciting of photo taking. Yet, it is a short enjoyable 1 hour forest...More

My teenagers and I enjoyed walking through the tropical forest environment. Take the electric cart to the Eastern district for peace and quiet, away from the tourist groups.

The great trekking we had in Jinghong is really cool. The minorities are still traditonal in their costoms and habits in villages where are very close to Laos. In Jinghong city it is vey similar with Thailand's style for the buidings and very clean, less...More

We walked into the rainforest with a guide who told us about a small tribe that lives there. Most likely you will need a translotor to understand the guide

We enjoyed the tour which didn't seem like a 'tour', walking through the tropical forest with friends. Very informative and entertaining.
