This is on of high snow caped mountain located on the Ancient Silk Road on the way from China Kunjirab Pass to Pakistan, over 7542m above the sea level. Beautiful place with Tajiik people's culture, best do it when travel along the Ancient Silk Road between Pakistan and China. You can stay overnight by the lake Karakuli Lake where you will have reflection of the mountain in the lake. Also you will feel altitude sickness there.

This is an incredibly beautiful setting. It's remote though and you need special permission and a guide to get here.

Ok first of all, we did not scale this mountain but we admired it from various angles while approaching Tashkorgan, a unique city on the foot of the Pamir mountains. It is absolutely breathtaking and stand pristine surrounded by barren hills devoid of snow. You cannot miss it if you are on this part of the Silk Route
