This pagoda is situated on the top of a very small hill, but worth a visit nevertheless, as the surrounding countryside is quite pretty when we visited in feb 2014.

Expect to spend about half a hour here.

The more up you go, the more tired you’ll be and the scenery will also be more beautiful. Try visiting the sky pavilion. Good for a nice landscape shot.

We visited Baota Shan and chose to climb up the Pagoda. For the climb up, be prepared for the very narrow passageways and stairs that lead 9 storeys up to the top. As the space is very narrow and only one way, be prepared to give way by walking backwards if there are people coming from the other direction. Not recommended for those who are claustrophobic.
