Yes the hill is looked like a grain stack in Chinese style. Everyone come for the Maiji Grottoes, but once you are on the hill, you will find the nature around is also amazing!

Maiji Mountain is in the top of my list of places visited in China. The place is completely off the tourist track and not that many westerners have made their way to this magical place. It is a bit out of the way however if...More

Truly amazing mountain . Statues of Buddha carved on the mountain plus the stomach churning climb up the thousand of steps to see the grottoes. Worth the climb!

A series of walkways criss-cross the mountain giving you access to all the caves and grottoes. Be warned, there are a lot of stairs, no wheelchair access, no toilets once you're on the wall and kids will tire quickly, but it's worth the effort.

Location fantastic but the caves are all closed and you have to peer through rusty metal doors so little can be seen.
