At Graeme Park we took a tour of the Keith House. Constructed in 1722, the estate holds history of Pennsylvania and the tragedy and controversy surrounding its residents. Tours are offered Fridays through Sundays. There are three floors and the house is not handicap accessible. The architecture of the home has not changed all that much over the years as you will see. It is not as furnished as other house museums. The park encompasses 42 acres and includes nature trails and picnic tables. There is a nice museum store. The charge for the tours is very reasonable and senior rates are offered. The park relies heavily on educational programs and weddings. It's too bad more people don't take advantage of the tours.

Lovely place for a short visit. We were glad to go during the week with no one around. Nice open grounds,. Some lovely old buildings. We especially loved the horse statue. It seems that it is hosts an event space, which would be great. Not sure I would go for a destination, as much as we drove by and walked around for 30 minutes to take it in.

Went to a wedding and reception here and it was awesome. White tents adorned the property and luxurious portable facilities were there for convenience...Great time, delicious and tender roast beef with great potatoes and veggies...Wonderful.

If one is interested in American history, this site is a must. The Keith House was the home of the first governor of Pennsylvania. It was slightly remodeled by the next owner, Dr. Thomas Graeme, but a significant portion of it is original. It is very humbling to walk on the same floors on which Benjamin Franklin walked. It is open for tours on weekends for a modest fee of $6 and on Living History Sundays there are reenactors present as well as a program of history. If you want to spend a whole afternoon, there are hiking trails and picnic facilities.

Great Food & Great Service. Generous portions, BYOB, and everything on the menu is tasty.

This is the BEST place for a family gathering. Great flexibility in seating large parties. I have dined with our family there several times in groups ranging from 4 people to 9 adults + 3 highchairs without any issue or significant delay in seating.

Best garlic knots (and plain knots too).

You won't be dissappointed. CM

Sure, there are many restaurants in the Horsham, Willow Grove area, But if you wish a consistent, appetizing meal, that is sure to send you home with a doggie bag (Meals are LARGE), the Graeme Park (especially after the movies) is a perfect stop...The menu is large enough to please, (specials are noted on the chalk board, when you enter) and pricing is within reason..Service is good and at times the restaurant is packed...(Good Food)
Try it, You might be surprised...
