We have season passes purchased on sale, so for us Sandcastle serves its purpose. It's a decent place to cool off with nice enough slides, and the wave pool is one of the best and largest we have been in. Overall, I think this park is tired and needs updates in cleanliness, and updates to the operation of some of... More

While the size of the park and the variety of water slides and activities is impressive, we were more than unimpressed with the lack of cleanliness in the water on the slides and specifically in the lazy river. We have not returned since...

Plenty of fun splashing or watching others splash. Great facilities and everything was clean and neat. Crowds were handle well, and employees seemed well trained and attentive.

I'm not sure. We hadn't been to Sandcastle in several years and I had had really good experiences there so I was looking forward to going back. We went on Labor Day weekend and it left a lot to be desired. We got the "meal deal" and the staff at the All-American Grille was very clueless (and a SC staff... More

I'm a Pittsburgh "native" and was around when this first opened -I was graduating from high school. I have always loved it here. Now that I'm an "older mom" at 46 taking my 2nd grader around -I can't get enough of it. I go on everything and am not tired. I think if some additional staff could be hired for... More

They open at 11am...be sure to get there at opening time...because you will need every available minute to feel like you got your moneys worth. The park is fun...plenty of rides and pools to choose from. If you park on the end with the wave pool you will have the longest walk to the majority of the slides. The sidewalk... More

Pools have giant hairballs & bandaids floating in them. Lazy river is filthy & bad customer service.

My husband and I chose to bring our kids who are ages 9 and 21 months old because we had heard it was a nice park. It was amazing! It has an older boardwalk feel to it. There are a variety of pools for all ages. There are 4 total. One is the classic wave pool which we did not... More

Me and my family had a wonderful time at sandcastle. The park is very clean and convenient. We went on a Sunday so the lines were a little long. Although we had a nice place under a tree with lounge chairs so it was very relaxing. Food and drink prices are reasonable. There's something to do for all ages.

This is just an okay water park. The lazy river is REALLY slow to the point where some of the life guards were pushing peoples tubes to move them along. In addition to that, they really need to do something about the goose droppings which were laying all along the sides of the lazy river - at certain points it... More
