Hershey Trolley Works is based in Hershey's Chocolate World, and all of our tours start and end there. We offer sightseeing, chocolate tasting, historical explorations of the inspiring story of Hershey 364 days a year.

During the summer and seasonal weekend of fall and Christmas, our format is a family friendly 45 minute show on the trolley where two actors bring the story to life in a uniquely entertaining way.

We also offer a more in depth 75 minute excursion on the trolley, guided by one of our highly entertaining conductors throughout the spring and fall, with limited offerings in summer as well.

When you are in town you should do the trolley. It is a great way for you and your kids to learn the legacy of Me Hershey and then after the tour, if you saw something that really. Interested you , you can return for an in depth visit.

I understand that the cheesy jokes are not for everyone, but you do learn a lot. We did the 45 minute summer trolley. I believe the 75 minute one is probably more educational, but they managed to fit a lot of facts in to one trolley ride! Plus it comes with some candy! The seats are wooden benches, but not... More

The tour was fun, musical and comical. It was very informative and we had a good time. It lasted about 45 minute and it went around the town of Hershey. I love the sing-a-long part.

The tour was great. Our guide, Kim, was very informative! I loved hearing all about Milton and Katherine Hershey. Book early to secure your spot.

This was a great attraction. It was an hour plus and it took you all over Hershey with a conductor who gave all kinds of info regarding the site you were seeing. He was a local boy so he also had a lot of personal stories to add. It rained the day we went but it was still very enjoyable.... More

The trolley was great they took us around town and explained to us what was what and while they were doing that they passed around Canda. The longer historical tour was booked for the day, so we opted for the short one. It was a bit too hokey for us with the silly jokes and hammy acting and old timey sing-along. It made us feel like grumpy curmudgeons but we just couldn't get in the spirit and were glad for the tour to be over.

Took the 75 minute trolley tour that picks up right outside Chocolate World Tour. Chuck was our guide and had lots of information to share with us regarding Mr Hershey and his legacy. As we passed each different factory.. he presented a tray to pass around with a sample of the chocolate or carmel treat they made at that location.... More

There are actually 2 different tours to choose from. The first is kind of silly but good for small kids. If you want a little more adult style tour take that one and you will not be disappointed!
