Hershey Trolley Works is based in Hershey's Chocolate World, and all of our tours start and end there. We offer sightseeing, chocolate tasting, historical explorations of the inspiring story of Hershey 364 days a year.

During the summer and seasonal weekend of fall and Christmas, our format is a family friendly 45 minute show on the trolley where two actors bring the story to life in a uniquely entertaining way.

We also offer a more in depth 75 minute excursion on the trolley, guided by one of our highly entertaining conductors throughout the spring and fall, with limited offerings in summer as well.

We did the Chocolate Historical Trolley Tour and learned a TON. I thought it was fantastic and super informative. Good overview to the town of Hershey as well as the Hershey company. You also get free candy! Loved.

A good way to learn a quick overview of Milton Hershey and the town of Hershey. The conductor of the trolley plays many roles and is very entertaining. I remember going on this trolley as a child and was happy to share the experience with my children.

The idea seemed good but reality, not so much. We did the 75 minute Chocolate and History tour. First, it was a really hot and humid day and the AC in the trolley did not help much. The tour spent most of the time just driving through area towns vs spending more time at Hershey history locations. I would not... More

Thank you for riding the trolley, and I'm sorry it did not meet your expectations. I agree on your point about the temperature-- this summer has been the most challenging in any of recent memory as far as keeping ahead of the heat, and I appreciate your bringing the problem to my attention. I don't like getting bad news of... More

This 45 minute tours gives views that many cannot see such as traveling to Milton Hershey's Mansion. The hosts provide the history of the town through song, comedy, and facts. Young kids will enjoy the free chocolate provided, and the costume changes. Since it is 45 minutes really young kids may get fidgety. I'll add that customer service was great. We... More

Our family just loved the trolley tour! The tour guides put on a great show and we learned so much along the way. Free chocolate just adds to the fun! Highly recommend this attraction. We travelled with a 7 and 10 year old and they just loved it. Great job!

We were only in Hershey for a short time and decided we could work the Trolley Tour into our time frame. We expected the usual ride around town with a driver or host to describe what we were passing. We were delighted to be treated to a much more involved presentation with a couple of young actors in turn-of-the-century (late... More

Great overview of the Hershey story done in a corny but entertaining manner. Learned a lot and the two tour guides/actors were great.

We pre purchased tickets ahead of time for the 75 minute history and chocolate tour but when we arrived they told us that the trolley broke down so the bumped us to a tour leaving 15 min after our scheduled time to the 45 min seasonal tour. We were really bummed because we were looking forward to the tour. The... More

The tour itself was enjoyable, but the trolley was entirely too hot. Everyone on the tour was sweating by the end. Our tour was at 10 am so I did not expect it to be so hot. I would not recommend this tour only because of the heat. Our tour guide Chuck and driver, Norm, were fine.
