Hershey Trolley Works is based in Hershey's Chocolate World, and all of our tours start and end there. We offer sightseeing, chocolate tasting, historical explorations of the inspiring story of Hershey 364 days a year.

During the summer and seasonal weekend of fall and Christmas, our format is a family friendly 45 minute show on the trolley where two actors bring the story to life in a uniquely entertaining way.

We also offer a more in depth 75 minute excursion on the trolley, guided by one of our highly entertaining conductors throughout the spring and fall, with limited offerings in summer as well.

I've been to Chocolate World more times than I can count. This time was the first that we rode the trolley though, and what a treat! (Literally, the passed out little treats all thru the tour :) We had a young man who was new as a conductor & had a great personality. Kept us chuckling with his humor, so... More

Excellent trip all around Hershey filling you in on all the history of the founder of Hershey. Amazing information and very, very good guide. A must if you are in town or the vicinity. Not all that interesting for small children.

This trolley ride was absolutely fascinating! I had no idea how much Mr. Hershey had done for other people. I am so glad I took the time to do this. Our tour guide and bus driver were hilarious but also very imformtive. As a plus you get several free samples!!

This was the icing on our trip to Hershey. Our guide John and driver Rich were fantastic which included John's jokes. While young kids did get antsy, the candy passed around helped. John and Rich made this ride interesting and the knowledge gained will be something I will always have with me and my family. This trolley ride is a... More

This is a must do for adults, in my book. Young children are not going to be able to comprehend the history, buildings, stories, etc. Guides were super friendly and entertaining. Really gave you the background of Milton Hershey and the company and the town and school. This is by far the most comprehensive tour. Do this if you don't... More

My husband and I enjoy this to the max. The trolley conductor was the best. I would not recommend this for young children. Trolley goes all over town. Spoiler Alert :The town of Hershey is only the post office...no official town of Hershey. From the trolley we viewed the mansion were the Hersheys lived . Saw the schools, homes, and... More

A great way to learn the history and see the sights of Hershey. There is much more there than a chocolate factory. Mr. Hershey s vision is brought out on this tour.

We ran into a significant amount of construction trying to get to Chocolate World for the trolley tour. Since we were one of the last to get on the trolley, all the seats to the front of the bus were taken. The aisle way was very narrow and folks were spilling off their seats. So we could not get to... This tour shows you what an amazing man Hershey was, as well as what a fun-packed area Hershey, Pa. is. The bus was air conditioned and the guide informative. We had free samples of Hershey Kisses that I never knew existed ! On the tour we saw places we could go from our brochures and got to know where they... More

This was very cute for kids as its not just a traditional tour... There's candy sampling, singing, and comedic relief and costumes. My only advice is to sit in the front.
