If not for any other reason, you really must check out the Major Dick Winters exhibit. Other points of interest include Hummelstown Brownstone, Bears memorabilia, an old map of the area and a trolley stop. More renovations are being completed, so you really don't want to miss this.

We have lived in Hershey for 9 years and never gone. Well, out of town family visit and they had researched and wanted to go. Really exceeds the expectations I had for sure. There is the stuff about Milton Hershey but then there is so much more. The Dick Winters part is worth the visit alone. And the Brownstone story... More

More to Hershey than just chocolate... exhibits include a "den" of memorabilia of Band of Brothers Commander Major Dick Winters, Hershey Bears AHL Hockey franchise collection, brownstone quarry & faith-based history of "Derry"... native Americans... and genealogical info can be obtained from a very capable librarian... library is quite extensive.

A nice stop to understand more about Hershey and it's past. Having grown up near by I had no idea quarries were so dominant! The staff is very friendly and insightful. It's a lovely way to spend an hour to appreciate more what is going on around you in today's world.

The historical society is a great little museum dedicated to the history of Hershey and Derry Township. Great exhibits are throughout the museum. There is a small gift shop. The volunteers are very friendly.

This museum has a lot - go to see the Dick Winters (Band of Brothers) display if you are a WWII history buff; go to see the Hershey Bears display if you are an ice hockey fan; and during the Christmas season go to see the train display! And if you have 'non-shoppers' in your group going to the Hershey... More

Located in a renovated barn where Hershey students milked their cows, this small museum has some exciting exhibits. There is, of course, the history of the town and county. In addition, one of the original "Band of Brothers", Major Dick Williams donated his entire office which is recreated in the museum. Very original stuff! When we visited, the model train... More

Great place to spend a few hours reliving some of the nostalgia that is Hershey. I always felt privileged growing up in Hershey. The fond memories I still carry with me become more vivid with my visits.
