This spa is excellent - but I have one VERY IMPORTANT recommendation for them. The intake forms require identification as male or female. There is no option for NB or trans individuals. Also, the locker rooms are male or female only. It is now 2021 and there needs to be an option, such as private locker rooms for trans or NB guests. I don't think this would be too hard and it would mean a lot to guests, especially since it's pride month.
Aside from that important caveat, the services are very good except that I got the hydrotherapy bath and the only way for them to turn it off was for the person to walk right in while i was in the tub to turn it off. The other services were great and the atmosphere is so beautiful! The chocolates all over the place and the friendliness of all of the employees was very much appreciated. This is not a cheap day out, but it is a truly wonderful treat.

I have to give this review only average as my friend did not have a totally good experience at the spa.Basically she was not pleased with her masseuse. Her masseuse did not comply with her wishes and even said “I never learned that at Massage school.“ Also both of us felt the manager there on this particular Monday was a bit brisk and dismissive to us. This is certainly not the kind of welcoming gesture in attempting to answer a question we expected at the very high prices paid. Unfortunately assuming during this Covid time,The gratuity is included in the price ,though I don’t feel it should be and that of course should be left to the quality of the service provided. No one did ask us at the end how are experience was.

The locker room was a bit cramped but the sauna rooms , Quiet rooms ,outdoor balcony and the aromatherapy room Were quite enjoyable. I liked the fact they offered a chocolate muffin and choice of beverages while there. The gift shop also at the spa has a nice quantity and quality of beauty products. For the amount paid for two regular massages on a Monday afternoon I was expecting a bit more all round finesse!

Fantastic service in a relaxing, varied environment! We booked 2 massages during our stay. We always book them 2 hrs apt so we can use the lavender scented room, the quiet/silent rooms, the steam rooms and the Oasis area (our fave). There are lovely locker rooms, comfy robes, snacks, drinks all in a clean, plush environment. My husband loved his masseuse Jen and I had Matt, who did deep work, targeting all my knots...loved it! The weather was so pleasant that we enjoyed our snacks outside on the soft sofas! You can book a lunch in the Oasis, while eating and drinking Mimosas in your robe. Steep at around 30 bucks a head. We didn't eat there but it looked like fairly lite fare. I saw 1 sliced beef dish, lots of salads and several desserts. Alcohol is extra. Overall, we truly enjoy a 1/2 day at the Spa, then head to the pool! Treat yourself to these, lush, high end services.

First time visiting the spa for my daughters 13th birthday. I wasn’t impressed. The girl who took us to the locker room was completely mumbling and slurring and I asked her if she was ok. She mentioned being there non stop for days with no break and that she was exhausted. She was not enunciating and I honestly didn’t understand anything she really said. Lunch at the Oasis was mediocre. Very disappointing. My daughter and I were so hungry we ended up eating more of the free candy they had everywhere more so than the lunch. The chicken corn soup...I had a big chicken bone in my bowl. Food was cold bean style salads with a cold beef style tenderloin- a small green salad , vinegar styled slaw chips and salsa - and chicken corn soup. Just didn’t go together. It’s honestly a shame because it could be so much better! The mani pedis were awesome though! Amanda and Tammy were just the best! Loved Tammy!! Would I come back? Probably not.

Prior to arriving @ Hershey Hotel I called to make appointments for spa treatments! I think this was the thing I was most excited about! The staff reassured me upon my check-in to the hotel that the Spa Apportionments were booked and I should be prepared for wonderful treatments!

I booked a Chamomile & Lavender Wrap Massage and a Reflexology treatment! I began either the massage...Heidi had magic finger that put me at ease—a real pro..she asked all the important questions upfront to minimize chatter and I was able to fall asleep while she went to work on my body!

Within 5 minutes of my massage ending...Reflexology began! Jess (The Best) did an outstanding job on exfoliating my feet and lower limbs and then the rub all the pressure points that made my body feel like butter..Wow...my 1st reflexology service was AWESOME (I didn’t realize I was playing myself all these years of getting spa treatments..lol)!

The aroma therapy and quiet rooms were great to relax before/after services. The staff were friendly and prompt on providing water; tea and of course Hershey’s Cocoa and Chocolates!

The only disappointing factor was the closure of the saunas due to COVID!

I recommend The Spa @ Hershey with full confidence you will enjoy your experience!

I brought my daughter here so we could enjoy some R&R and to celebrate her graduation. Upon arrival, we were rushed(!) into our milk and honey soaks, which were timed 15 minutes. We're not certain when the clock actually started running on the baths, but we did not get 15 full minutes in the tub. Also, my daughter's attendant simply opened the curtain to check in with her instead of knocking or calling out to her first. We then both received messages, which were fantastic. I had Suzanne for my message and she was great! My daughter later received a facial, which she thoroughly enjoyed.
What was most disconcerting about our visit was that guests were not required to wear masks in common areas. Neither did we notice at any time during our stay (approx. 5 hours) that common surfaces were ever cleaned (although refreshments were regularly checked by masked employees). Very disappointing overall.

My girls are 13 and 15, so I was super glad we could all try out the spa. We all got the sweet hands. We got there 1.5 hours early because we were so excited. We filled out some quick paperwork and were given robes and shoes to wear. We also got lockers to store our things in. We were then given a tour. We were also given use of the indoor pool which we tried out. We entered the steam room but didn't stay long. The whole environment was nice and super relaxing! Everyone was also super friendly! The quiet room had snacks which we tried out- muffins, fruit, and kisses. They also had coffee, tea, water, and delicious hot chocolate. They come to get you for the services from the quiet room. Our sweet hands was awesome, and we all really enjoyed it. Our manicurists were all fabulous. We all loved our experiences and would 💯 recommend it. I would love to be able to take my mom and mother in law there if we are ever there with them. We ended up buying lotion and chapstick there( chocolate of course).

It was a nice visit to the Spa. The hostess was very nice, and the Cocoa Massage was very nice. The Whipped Cocoa Bath was really not worth it. In my opinion they have too much down time in-between treatments. And the quiet room is not very quiet, there were a lot of groups that were looking for each other so everyone kept opening the door. Maybe the Spa can figure out a way to give the groups a meeting up space so the peace is not being disturbed.

A group of friends went to celebrate a birthday. It is nice for a group. We went early and used the pool, sauna and steam room. We then hung out in the quiet room with delicious muffin, coffee, hot chocolate and trail mix. Of course there are plenty of Hershey kisses. I loved my chocolate wrap. My friends enjoyed the winter special. The prices are higher than other places but as a group outing and using the other amenities ( fitness center also) it makes for a wonderful day.

My spa day was perfection from start to finish. My husband brought me to the spa for our anniversary. I arrived an hour early as requested, filled out paperwork than Kathy my spa hostess took me to get changed into a robe then took me for a tour of the spa. Kathy was great, very knowledgeable about the hotel and spa, she was able to answer all my questions and was always there if I needed anything inbetween services. I had an 80 min cocoa massage with Pam she was incredible! One of the best massages I've ever had, Pam told me shes been there for 20 years and it definitely shows she's a very talented therapist! Brennan took care of my cocoa hydrotherapy bath he was really great, so friendly and helpful! The bath was the perfect temp and he had the most delicious hot chocolate waiting for me, its like drinking a melted Hershey bar. I walked out feeling like a million bucks! The spa is very large and beautiful but the staff takes the spa to the next level. They treat you like you're the only client there, everyone i saw had a smile on their face. I never felt rushed and was encouraged to take my time and relax as long as i wanted. I was in heaven the entire time I was there and I cant wait to go back!
