Jazz evening on the river

Took my Dad on river cruise for celebration prior to Senators baseball game. Timing was perfect and staff very accommodating to senior citizens.

The Pride had closed down weekday operations, but did a special voyage for a group of WWII VETS and their families. The trip was wonderful. The captain was very accommodating to our group and it was a wonderful day on the river!

The facility was ran down. No bathrooms at dock and only 1 one on deck. The food is catered and not very good. Chicken lacked any flavor and beef was half raw. The cruise entailed traveling only a short distance and then circling in the same area for most of the time and made us seasick. Crew was friendly but... More

Decided to do the boat tour at the last minute, glad we did. The ride was narrated by a recording that was easy to hear and understand giving a brief history of the city. Very enjoyable.

Boat dock is located on City Island. Don't go if there is a minor league baseball game since the parking is crowded. Pleasant enough 45 minute boat ride but a shortage of outside seating. Interesting commentary about the river and Harrisburg but kept you wanting more.

Visited City Island and Riverfront Park for the Kipona Festival during Labor Day weekend. It was a great decision to take the cruise on the Pride of the Susquehanna as the weather was perfect. The cruise lasts about 45 minutes and at least half the trip a narrative on historical subjects played that was interesting. We were treated to the... More

We had a great time...The music went on for two hours before the boat left the dock. We then had a nice sunset cruise on the river. The interior of the boat is air conditioned and they have food service. There is a limited bar as well. We enjoyed the music while having a beer and pulled pork sandwich. During... More

For several years I have had the pleasure of enjoying the Sunday church service on the Pride. It's a wonderful time to reflect on life as you enjoy the water. Shall we gather at the River ?

We had a young family with 3 children ages 5 and 7 visiting. The small paddleboat and cruise on the Susquehanna was a fun activity. The children loved going under the railroad bridges and seeing the several islands in the river. They were pretty attentive to the Tour Guides explanation. It was a short trip probably an hour or so.... More

We were looking for something to do on a warm August day and came upon the river cruise. It is a short cruise (about an hour) on the river, and at the start there is a recorded presentation about local history. Food and beverages are available for sale aboard. The breeze on the river was just what we needed to... More
