Stopped at City Island on our way through Harrisburg to visit family. It was overrun with Pokemon seekers. Grown adults all over the place catching animated characters on their smart phones. Spent some time at the batting cages. Lots of fun for the little boys.

City Island is easily accessible with parking available on the island. Sporting events and family centered fun activitiew. The walking bridge makes it easy to cross over the river and also walk around the city. Great for biking or walking.

The best thing about City Island with Water Golf. Not just the golf-it's the food stand! Surprisingly good and massive amount of ice cream for the dollar. Highly recommend sneaking out of the Senators game and helping yourself!

Pretty cool, an island in the middle of a river that's part of the capital. There's a few things to do too. I definitely recommend visiting the water mini golf. There wasn't a whole lot to do though and they should have made some areas inaccessible for cars as there's no sidewalks along the roads.

City Island hosts so many visitors at the ballgames, soccer games, festivals and ride the Pride. I recently walked the island with a friend who is a photographer and was so excited to show here how beautiful the area is. Trash was strewn, weeds were rampant, walls sported graffiti and the place was just plain disgusting compared to how well... More

Great place to visit ! Take the family ! The miniature golf is right beside the Susquehanna River and lends a great view. Senators Baseball is the affiliate to the Washington Nationals and provides a great game of fun and see the future talent in the Major Leagues - The Pride of the Susquehanna is a great boat ride all... It was a beautiful night to walk. The attendant at the hotel suggested here. It was easy to find and parking was easy. The Harrisburg AA team was playing a double header. Very nice ball park. There is also a walking bridge that connects the island to the city. Great way to spend a quiet evening of gazing at the... More

best thing about the island is FNB park and the Harrisburg Senators AA baseball club! The team gear could be a little less expensive. It's too much for the average fan. Have a Spot Dog, they are great. The boardwalk in the stadium is great as it allows you to walk the whole way around the field and get many... More

We had visitors who had a 5 year old and a 7 year old. we went over to City Island to take a boat ride, the Pride of the Susquehanna. After a pleasant hour on the boat the kids were ready to run. There was ample space to walk, a great playground, a mini golf area and a very nice... More
