Memorial Lake is a place we visit occasionally as a family for an evening picnic and a walk along the lake and over the dam. Occasional fish and wildlife can be seen and the hiking areas are partly shade and partly sunny.

Went to Memorial Lake Park today for a birthday party for our friends' daughter's 1st birthday. Nice picnic area with plenty of shade. Only down-side was finding the park... It's kinda in the middle of nowhere. I would suggest having street signs guiding visitors. The lake is sooo big and beautiful! A hidden treasure we did not know about!

Beautiful, clean kept, lake state park. We had no idea this gem was not too far away. We took a paddle boat out on the lake for one hour. So beautiful, peaceful and just what the doctor ordered. Very calming and great "US" time. We took a nice walk on one of the paths afterward. Will definitely go back.

This is a fantastic park that is well-worth the drive from Harrisburg. Expansive, with plenty of parking and lots to do. Boating, picnicking, hiking - they have it all. Hiked a fair amount in the park and the trail system is excellent - can't wait to get back!!

My wife and I frequently go to Memorial Lake to ride bike and perhaps have a picnic lunch. Canoeing or paddle boating are other favorite activities. Excellent restroom facilities and an abundance of picnic tables. Very nice surrounding area for bicycling.

This is a really nice simple state park. Well taken care of with walking trails around the lake. Lots of picnic benches for eating, playgrounds and volleyball sand courts. Plenty of parking, nice boat ramps, good fishing. Only negative is that you can not swim.

The trails here are very nice. Easy walking and plenty of places to sit along the lake. There is definitely something for everyone here. Nice play ground for the kids, fishing areas, volleyball and kayak boat rentals. VERY clean. Would of gave a five star but we had to walk along a busy road ( not to far ) with... More

Just the right size for our family. Had boat/kayak/canoe rentals. Plenty of spots to fish and picnic. Also nice paved trail around lake.

Beautiful and relaxing. A six mile walking path around the lake nature at it's best. There is a place to rent boats by the our or half day priced well. You can also bring your own boat. Just the place to relax when the crush of Hershey park has gotten to much. There are bbq grills and Pitts around also... More
