This is a beautiful place to spend time with the family either by hiking, biking, exercising, or playing. There's a lot of areas that you can enjoy under the sun or in the shade. They have picnic tables throughout. The lake is there for fishing...More

Memorial Lake is a place we visit occasionally as a family for an evening picnic and a walk along the lake and over the dam. Occasional fish and wildlife can be seen and the hiking areas are partly shade and partly sunny.

Went to Memorial Lake Park today for a birthday party for our friends' daughter's 1st birthday. Nice picnic area with plenty of shade. Only down-side was finding the park... It's kinda in the middle of nowhere. I would suggest having street signs guiding visitors. The...More

Beautiful, clean kept, lake state park. We had no idea this gem was not too far away. We took a paddle boat out on the lake for one hour. So beautiful, peaceful and just what the doctor ordered. Very calming and great "US" time. We...More

My wife and I frequently go to Memorial Lake to ride bike and perhaps have a picnic lunch. Canoeing or paddle boating are other favorite activities. Excellent restroom facilities and an abundance of picnic tables. Very nice surrounding area for bicycling.

This is a really nice simple state park. Well taken care of with walking trails around the lake. Lots of picnic benches for eating, playgrounds and volleyball sand courts. Plenty of parking, nice boat ramps, good fishing. Only negative is that you can not swim.

I don't know. I think I've seen people in the park with leashed dogs. Call the Park Ranger's office to be certain.
How easily can elderly get to the pavilion and restrooms from the parking area? And is there electricity in the pavilion?

I do not recall seeing any power in the restrooms, I am almost sure that there is no power.
