FilingoFlyFishing is a company based upon teaching people all aspects of the wonderful art of fly fishing. Anglers have the option of creeping through the woods to try and catch beautiful brook trout, or relaxing as they float down the amazing Delaware River system in pursuit of large, wild brown and rainbow trout. There is so much amazing water in the Northeast United States. Lets explore!

Jesse was the best fishing guide I’ve been guided by. From small technical dry fly fishing to streamers, his ability to navigate waters and know exact location of fish was amazing. I would highly recommend Jesse to anyone, any skill set!

Awesome time fishing the upper Delaware
with Jesse Filingo! Jesse is an over the top fly fishing guide. His energy and enthusiasm practically wills the fish to
bite! Jesse is constantly vigilant with fly selection, fly depth while nymphing as well as managing the drift. His boat is well maintained and equipped with the clients
comfort and safety in mind. Fly fishing is not a job for Jesse, it’s the essence of who he is. I’ve already
booked my next float with Jesse!!

Great guide, great fishing and spectacular person to share his knowledge of the Delaware River with you on every trip. His enthusiasm is infectious for fishing and friendship with his clients, new and existing! He is so involved in presenting you with a fishing experience while teaching, even seasoned anglers, something new about the fish. I enjoy every trip with Jesse and look forward to the next adventure with him.

Did a float trip on the Upper Delaware with Jesse and it was awsome! Jesse was fun, professional, and worked hard to get me on fish. He was thorough with his instruction and extremely welcoming. I highly recommend him if you want to catch fish and learn a thing or two.

Can't beat a day on the water with this guy! Jesse guided us bravely through torrential downpour with a big ole' smile on his face. Muddy water and big winds couldn't stop him from finding tons of great fish to get us on, and we ended up having an unforgettable time on the Delaware. You won't find a guide who will cram more trout knowledge into your skull or show you a better time. Thanks again Jesse!

Great time overall! Jesse was informative, knowledgeable, helpful, and very fun! His number one priority was for me and my son to have a great time and he was 100% successful. Was the best 8 hours of my summer. He promised we’d catch trout and we did. It was our first time fly fishing. Highly recommend Filingo Fly Fishing!!

My son wanted to learn to fly fish and this was his first time floating down river. He loved it and Jesse was great teaching him how do cast and “set!” the line. I hadn’t gone fly fishing in decades and it was a great time for me too.

Had the best day fly fishing with my husband, we caught 6 fish and had the most relaxing fun day in the most beautiful river. Jessie is go good at teaching beginners and making the whole experience fun! Would definitely do again!

This is the second year that my son and I have been on the West Branch float trip with Jesse. He is the best. We have so much fun and make such great memories and Jesse has a lot to do with that. Oh yeah, and he knows that river like the back of his hand too.

Upper Delaware River Float Trip | July ‘23
This is my second trip with Filingo fly fishing on the upper Delaware river. There is no one better than Jesse to show you an amazing time. He is full of energy and his knowledge of the river fishing is second to none. I have enjoyed myself every time, and as a novice to the area, he was a wealth of knowledge. His friendship extends outside of the fishing. He often checks in afterwards. I would recommend this trip to anybody of any skill set to take some time and enjoy nature’s beauty. The full day float is an amazing experience, Jesse knows every rock and channel in the river. The fish are a bonus- what is the best of this experience is the time with Jesse and friends, the energy and the solitude of this beautiful place! This will be a yearly trip for me!!!

Woahhhhh long time no response by me... Thanksgiving time frame all depends on weather. If we're having our "Indian Summer" as we call it, meaning our unusually warm days in November, the fishing can be great! If it's below freezing in the AM and blistery the fishing won't be so good.
