This statue speaks to my soul. I love everything about this place and I visit the pie woman and her beautiful child very often. The last time I went here, there was a man who looked like Santa. He watched me through his motel window as I took pictures with the statue...I guess he was just checking to see if I was being naughty or nice :) A great experience...I want my wedding here and I want to be buried here too, with my real mother, the pie lady. P.S. It's better to go at night...you get the "full" experience...

The statue is creepy. What makes it worse is that the chold is playing with a doll with no head. If you are staying at the Holiday Inn Express, which is excellent by the way, pull into this statue first and scare your family into believing you are staying here. Tell a good ghost story and they will be begging to leave.

A particularly ugly statue in a dirty location. This is typical northern Skook county, which does nothing but drive out the intelligent young people. Stay away and keep driving south if you're on 81 and need a room - go down to the Pine Grove exit for clean national hotels/motels.

Years ago we had a pleasant stay here---- now it is terrible, and we will never stop again. Ever. Rooms are run down, parking lot is full of pot holes, shady characters walking throughparking lot. Awful.

Worth the stop only if you're already in the area. The hotel had definitely seen better days and could use an update. It is a bit creepy, especially the child's face.
