Sometimes it's hard to find fun things to do around town and Totem Pole is definitely a great choice. We went to see One Slight Hitch and the actors were absolutely fabulous. They all played their roles really well. Had some great laughs! Looking forward to their next show! We will definitely be there.

Nestled in the woods of the state park is the playhouse, a small but highly sophisticated theater with a wonderful docket of dramas, comedies, musicals - you will be able to find *something* that will pique your interest. I made my first trip up over the mountain from Gettysburg (a beautiful drive through scenic Pennsylvania farm land) this past weekend... More

Decided to do something a little different for our Anniversary and went to see "Forever in Plaid" and were we so pleasantly surprised at the big crowd and the wonderful entertainment! Totem Pole has come a long way in the last few years with updates to the parking lot and sound system and there's not a bad seat in the... More

We went to see Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks, which was absolutely fantastic. The cast was incredibly talented and the theatre was charming and comfortable. The price of the tickets were included in our stay at the Mercersburg Inn and it was a great value. The best part is that you can sit anywhere in the playhouse and have... More

Nestled In a serene forested area between Chambersburg and Gettysburg, is a gem called the Totem Pole Playhouse. We had the pleasure of watching Patsy Cline and Hank Williams, Sr. Tribute Artists who captured the essence of both individuals. The acoustics were excellent as well as the band supporting these artists. Travellers in this area should consider attending a performance... More

Went to see off Broadway show of Grease. This was a wonderful show. The Totem Pole theatre is the very best place to go for a stay production. A must see while in this area.

This is a great summer theater. I try to get at least two plays in each summer. They are open May thru August.

A nice little theatre that fits in perfectly with its deep woods location. Located right off Rt. 30 in Caledonia State Park, the theatre has a campground feel yet a theatre feel. Tickets are fair priced and views are perfect.

Our last visit was in May 2013. At that time there were obvious problems at Totem Pole and our review mentioned those. Welcome back, Totem Pole! Gone are the ticket add-ons that nearly doubled the cited ticket price. Their new director, Rowan Joseph, has made many changes. Productions have been excellent ("Shenandoah" was wonderful). Fresh talent has been the best... More

For area visitors, there's almost always seats available for a show and it will be a night (or afternoon) you will enjoy. Get info online (http://totempoleplayhouse.org/), check the shows, get tickets. Grab a bite to eat at Giacomo's (a BYOB eatery) (http://giacomoitalianrestaurant.weebly.com/) on the way to the playhouse. You won't regret it. Although we pick and chose what we go... More
