I enjoyed the boat to life and the music. The shop is fun and people enjoyed the bar and dancing. It was fun singing as we came ba k to the dock and the folks on shore singing and dancing too. I didn't expect for a crew member to do exotic dancing with the passangers. It was very awkward for me. I just ignored what was happening behind me and focused on the view of the lake. This was not mentioned in the description of the booz cruise. So it was a shock. I was glad to note the gentleman would interact with both men and women. Also the crew wore masks which was good to see.

This is a fun experience for families with kids around 7-10ish? My 7yo daughter who is adverse to all new things admitted she "might" want to come back, and it seemed like the 7- and 9-year old boys on the ride had a blast. The storyline was interactive while still letting families enjoy the scenery. The captain noticed my daughter's desire to not get involved in the water gun battle (most kids seemed to really enjoy it!) and let her come up top. The first and second mates interacted with the kids well. It's a super fun trip for elementary aged kids!

Geared to families. We had a great time (grandma, 2 parents, 6yr old). Was a pleasant boat ride with a pirate adventure and lots of crowd participation. You might get splashed in the pirate battle. Super fun. Would recommend.

I've heard nothing but good about this adventure. When my nieces kids came in from out of town I took them aboard this. They had a ball. The crew and staff were great and kept the kids captivated. I would recommend this for anyone with small children!

We recently took part in the Scallywags Pirate Adventure with my granddaughter. The trip lasted around 90 minutes and was definitely geared towards the children on the boat. That being said, we also loved it as adults. Part of that was seeing the absolute glee in my 5 year old granddaughter's face as she followed the story line of the cast of characters as the crew and the renegade pirate tried to possess the all-important treasure map. Water cannons were a highlight of the event. Those above 2 years are $20 each so it adds up but it was certainly worthwhile.
