Nice place for kids and family to see and learn about the Erie Beach/Peninsula areas. Love the old historic photos of the beaches and town folk.

We had our daughters 8th birthday party with her friends at TREC and it was awesome! The kids had a great time exploring and then had "class" with one of the rangers. The Class was an educational talk about animals that live on Presque Isle. Live turtles as well as other visual hands on things for the kids to look... More

If you want to learn about the Presque Isle area, it is really interesting. There is a great 15 minute movie about the peninsula. The children's area is small, but quite interactive. We watched a very good movie about dinosaurs (not free). There is a small cafeteria and a tremendous gift shop!

An amazing place to go to learn about the environment of Presque Isle and Lake Erie. It's a great educational trip, great for everyone, those from the area and those visiting from out of town. I live coming back here whenever I visit.

The exhibition looked very interesting and we went up onto the observation deck which was very nice with a decent view. We managed to get a reasonable lunch in the café eventually - it didn't appear to be open when we arrived so it was all a bit hit and miss! I wouldn't go out of my way to visit... More

Nice new place in Erie to view exhibits and interactive activities about the local environment including birds, fish and other animals in the local area. We were there in the morning and it was not crowded. Enjoyed our visit. Liked the new building design.

The Tom Ridge Centre is a nice stop going to or coming from the Presque Isle State Park - it is only a half mile away . First, it is free! Second, parking is easy and pleasant. Third, the contents of the building are interesting and educational. Fourth, it has a great tower accessible by elevator and offering a beautiful... More

With a little extra time on our hands while in Erie we saw the signs for the Tom Ridge Environmental Center and decided to check it out. First nice surprise was that the Center is free. Upon entering the building, we were greeted at the door with a friendly smile and verbal directions to various highlights in the Center. The... More
