If you want to learn about the Presque Isle area, it is really interesting. There is a great 15 minute movie about the peninsula. The children's area is small, but quite interactive. We watched a very good movie about dinosaurs (not free). There is a small cafeteria and a tremendous gift shop!

An amazing place to go to learn about the environment of Presque Isle and Lake Erie. It's a great educational trip, great for everyone, those from the area and those visiting from out of town. I live coming back here whenever I visit.

Nice new place in Erie to view exhibits and interactive activities about the local environment including birds, fish and other animals in the local area. We were there in the morning and it was not crowded. Enjoyed our visit. Liked the new building design.

The Tom Ridge Centre is a nice stop going to or coming from the Presque Isle State Park - it is only a half mile away . First, it is free! Second, parking is easy and pleasant. Third, the contents of the building are interesting and educational. Fourth, it has a great tower accessible by elevator and offering a beautiful... More

With a little extra time on our hands while in Erie we saw the signs for the Tom Ridge Environmental Center and decided to check it out. First nice surprise was that the Center is free. Upon entering the building, we were greeted at the door with a friendly smile and verbal directions to various highlights in the Center. The... More

Great historical information. Nature studies. Environmental discussions. Children's areas. Plus a cute cafe and gift shop. Perfect distraction for rainy days.

The TREC provides an educational experience in the way of wildlife exhibits and films about Presque Isle State Park. Very informative! Recommend to go to top of observation tower to get a get view of area and to take pictures.
