The Tom Ridge Center is definitely worth a short stop if you're in the area. The exhibits and short films are nicely done, and you can't beat the price (free, except for the movies shown on the "Big Green Screen"). I was somewhat disappointed in the view from the top of the tower, however. Although you can see a bit... More

Our local friends took us there and we had a great time viewing the displays while learning more about the area and the Great Lakes. Their gift shop is excellent. We watched a movie in their large screen theater. If we had time we would have stayed to see every movie playing that day, it's that high a quality. This... More

This is a nice place to visit on a rainy day. The exhibits are very educational! There are no admissions costs unless you want to watch an IMAX movie.

We stopped here for the first time recently before heading over to Waldameer Park. It is right across the street from it. It was a very neat place to see! Lots of different interactive exhibits, they offer a free 15 minute movie about Erie/Presque Isle, they also have certain featured movies that you can pay extra for, we didn't see... More

This center is filled with valuable and interesting information for all. The Eco system, the fowl information, "Lake Erie"...a worthwhile exploration!!!

We went to the Tom Ridge Center when they had the shipwrecks of the great lakes display and it tied in with what I had been teaching my teen daughter. She had been there before and enjoyed looking at some of the displays. This was my first time there and I thought it was very nice. We also visited the... More

The kids have a blast, whether up in the tower or learning and watching about new things. You never get bored and you can learn even as an adult. It is in a great location, near to the entrance of Presque Isle State Park. I've been lucky enough to attend meetings here, training and bring the kids. An all-around great... More

Very interesting place to visit. Watched a free movie on how the area was formed over the years. Interesting exhibits. Climbed stairs to top level of the tower for nice area views. It has a small cafeteria with decent food.

Relatively new facility. Clean with interesting displays for nature enthusiasts, most adults and young children. The gift shop alone is worth the stop if you're a tourist looking for gifts to take back home. With all the beautiful activities to be enjoyed outside in the Summer, I wouldn't plan a whole day here, but worth an hour or two on a... More
