Lake Erie Winery Tour

This tour is guided by a native of Erie Pennsylvania and not only includes a wine tasting, but also a historical narration of the areas we visit. This tour is educational and highlights some of the best Erie has to offer but is meant to be fun as well. We'll enjoy the scenery, wine, chocolate, and each other's company along the way!

Great fun place for families, great rides, only gave 4 stars because families that just want to walk around and only buy food and not ride rides can’t do that anymore, rules are changed and you can only get in if you buy tickets to ride, which isn’t good for older people that can’t ride....too bad this have elimated us from coming to your park anymore, so sad for us.....

We drove a little over 5 hours to come to our hometown and visit Waldameer before they closed and we were not disappointed, workers were not stickler about wearing masks. As long as we had one prepared and weren’t walking too close to people we had ours pulled down to breath for a minute. A couple of the rides where closed which was expected but it was an amazing time. We went on a Saturday and I think the longest we waited for a ride was 8 minutes or so. The staff was super friendly and even helped us get better deals on drinks since there were 5 of us and the food was exceptional as always. I think our biggest inconvenience was the amount of times we filled our bottles 😂 100% worth it for the trip down and the water park was just as good as always. We loved the new racer slides a lot and the new and better hot tub.

Who lets teenage girls run thru the park with no masks and dipping their fingers in the pickles, not once, but twice and nothing is done? Waldameer does! After the second time they should have been thrown out of the park because not only could they have COVID they could have another illness! Park goers beware!

The poll areas for 48" and under was amazing for my 3 year old. All the kids above 48" said they had a blast at the big side as well. The ride for 48" & under had a good variety of rides as well. I believe tho that if a child is slightly under the line but is riding with an adult they should allow it. My 7 year old was very upset that she was just slightly under the height for the one ride and they wouldn't allow her to go on with me.

Went last a Friday July 24th 2020 w/ my sister ( my entire family parents sisters husband kids etc have been enjoying the park for YEARS) this time was defiantly different due to the virus & we knew that it would be prior to going .. people thought we were crazy to even this year go but we still wanted to support the park during this crazy time & ride our 3 favorite rides .... well that’s where it went south lol we got to the ticket booth & saw the sign “Thunder River” will open late ?!? Ugh we were so disappointed that was 1 of our 3 favorites we drove from Cleveland to ride it but were not able to stay into the evening to see if it would open .. We were well aware of the rides that were not open this season due to covid As they were listed on the website but this was NOT 1 of them .. they said it takes 4 people to operate the log ride. This ride should be up & running as it’s summer time & hot instead of the dumb games no one cares about.we made the best of our day riding 2 rides plus 1 train ride. Very odd feeling but that’s not the parks fault it’s so strange now. We will try again next year
