A small zoo, with a limited roster of animals. However, you seem to be able to get a little closer to the animals than at some of the other, bigger zoos. It seems that they are constantly working on updating the facilities, as some seemed to be new, but parts were decidedly dated. One nice surprise was the mini train... More

This zoo isn't the largest zoo, and it doesn't have every animal but still is an amazing place. The habitats the animals are in are great sizes. All the animals seemed happy. Yes can be tired and lazy but the weather definitely shows on them. The zoo was clean, everything well maintained. Food is good and fresh. Very well spaced... More

This is a small zoo but very nicely done. Excellent atmosphere and a nice way to spend some time while in Erie.

The zoo is smaller than the Pittsburgh or Columbus ones that I've been too but it is very well maintained and enjoyable.

We were surprised how old, small, and quaint this zoo was. I did like that the animals were at close range but I was also disappointed how scarce the animals were. There was only one or two of each species. However many zoo animals like elephants, rhinos, polar bears, bears, and wolves and others were not available. The advertisements I... More

Visited here with my 7 year old daughter and met with my mom, auntie and brother. This is one of the prettiest zoos I've visited. It was a lovely, relaxing day for my entire family and got some amazing photos of the animals and plantlife.

Nice little zoo, lived the tropical birds and the giraffes. Felt a little sorry for the old ape, nice visit though.

We visited the Zoo this past June. It is small and was a little disappointed that most animals, their was only one, so the odds of seeing them doing something but sleeping in the far corner. It is only $9.00 to visit, but was shocked when at the end we figured we would take the train ride as a good... More

It was a very nice but small zoo! The staff seemed friendly and even though it wasn't as big as other zoos I been too, it seem like it was well kept with a lot of animals to see!
