Visited the Erie Zoo while in town for baseball. Very interesting place to spend a few hours. Some great creatures to see and a chance for kids to pat a kangaroo. Quite enjoyed our visit!

This zoo has a wonderful variety of wildlife with easy walking . There is a great children's play area and merry go round. there is a 2 mile train loop where you will see other animals and cross over the Mill Creek. the zoo closes from Dec to March

The Erie Zoo is a great place for kids and adults. I live in Erie and have gone to the zoo since I was a child. Unlike big city zoos, the animals are up close and personal. It is one of the best breeding zoos in the country. Our orangutans have had a son and a daughter while they have... More

An older zoo, but still fun the walk around with the grand kids. Great parking and easy to get to. The train ride is always fun.

We always take the time to visit Erie zoo when we are in town. ITs the perfect size to spend a half day or so looking at the animals. The price is right and we always enjoy ourselves. Its nice to feel like you aren't being ripped off by overpriced entrance or concessions. Highly recommend to visit if you like... More

We loved this zoo for our young family! The price can't be beat and the zoo is super! It certainly caters to younger kids more so than some other zoos. There is even a playground area!

We visited from Cleveland and although it was smaller than the Cleveland zoo it was designed well. The paths made you feel like you were really in the wild. The animals were very active which was fun. The lion exhibit was the only one that made me kind of sad, however, they did have plans to redo it in the... More

We only go to Erie for a few days, so it is nice to come here for a half day and hang with the animals for a bit. There is enough to see not to get bored, but it is small enough that you don't have to spend the entire day. The train ride is the most scenic ride I've... More
