my 11 year old son loves chocolate, so we always stop at chocolate shops whenever we visit a new town. The dark chocolate here was some of the best we've tried; ever better than we has in Belgium, Paris, or Switzerland.
I have been to Pulakos many times during the year and there are always seasonal choices of very fine candy. Prices are good, clerks are friendly and helpful. It's just nice in this day and age to be able to find a chocolate shop, rather...More
For those of you who are not into chocolate - stop and go to Pulakos Chocolates. And for those of you who are - it's a no brainer. You must go! The S'more is to die for. There's chocolate, graham cracker and a marshmallow filling...More
Pulakos has been a must stop in our family for years. Every time we go to Erie, we stop and get delicious goodies. Very friendly staff. The fresh chocolate covered strawberries are a must have. They sell out very quickly, so get there early.

With relatives in Erie we have always made a stop at Pulakos on each and every visit and it never disappoints! We truly believe their chocolate is the creamiest and tastiest over any other chocolate store we have been to. The chocolate covered strawberries are...More
Nice indoor ambient with some antique modules on display. Interesting to see them. Attractive chocolates but what we liked the most was the Fruit Slices section- you could guess the fruit candy by color (and taste).
Stopped here while vacationing in Erie. There are 2 locations . The one on Parade Street is the one where the chocolate is made and you can tour the factory if you call ahead. We went to the one that is located near the mall...More
Definitely took care of my dark chocolate fix. Not a huge selection like Josh Early Chocolates in Allentown PA, but chocolate may even be better. Lady behind the counter was special. May be the best peanut butter cups I ever tasted. Dark chocolate covered mint...More
We scheduled a tour of the factory and it was great. We got a personal tour of all the aspects of creating candies and learned about the history of the company. We even got to taste the chocolates at the end!!
