This venue is beautiful. I was fortunate to visit during the holidays. This theater is a venue for a variety of performances. It is a treat to just walk through this stunning theater.

Warner Theater is top-notch movie palace. Love the art deco sprinkled throughout, the great staircase, and of course the hall of mirrors modeled after Versailles with the grand chandeliers. No place better to see a film from the 1920s & 1930s. Not sure if movies...More

Very uncomfortable venue. Millions of tax dollars spent but you still have crappy seats and inefficient HVAC. Na pleasant place to spend a 2 hours for a show.

We always enjoy ourselves at the Warner Theater. It is a historical building from the 1920's era. The stage plays very nicely to Broadway Series Programs, the Erie Philharmonic, comedy acts, shows of magic, and concerts or musical acts. When you enter from the front...More

A philharmonic hot spot! Right in the hard is downtown. Parking nearby on the street but watch out for the homeless stragglers yelling from the streets. Erie's premier Performing Arts location

Love this place. So much character. All the seats are great, but the seats in the middle no matter how far back would be best. Was there for a concert. Was very impressed with the venue. No outside drinks are allowed in the theater. So...More

Dinner before going to Warner Theater (12 Replies)
Hey guys. Looking for dinner ideas before we go to Warner Theater on the 20th May. Food wise we eat most things and aren't really that fussy, just looking for somewhere near the theater which is pretty decent but maybe not too fancy. Maybe a cheap to mid range restaurant (I know cheap to some may be different to what I find cheap), so maybe up to $50 (tbh if it's a good place I am happy to go more than that). Any ideas would be great. Thanks so much guys :)

Assuming that is per person, I second Old Ebbitt. I am also partial to ToroToro. They have a Brazilian meat theme and it is fabulous. You could get a drink, a meal and dessert if you select wisely for $50 per person. If it is $50 total for two, you will likely have to go with a chain like Hard Rock or fast food.

Parking for concert at Warner Theater (3 Replies)
Hi. We are coming to Erie in a couple of weeks for concert at the Warner Theater. I am unfamiliar with this venue and I was wondering if someone could tell me what the parking situation is like. Thank you for any tips or suggestions. :) ~NEC

Parking is easy and cheap, but bear with me while I'm a bit rusty. There are several ramps around this city and street parking is free after 6pm. So the theater is 8th and State streets:♦ There's 2 ramps between 8th&9th and between Peach and Sass. Be weary of the one-way streets. So these ramps are only a few blocks away - west. Another ramp, entrance between 7th&8th on Peach. Aside from that, there usually a lot of spots in the bank parking lots that are available after...More

701 Restaurant is open late, but you should call to doublecheck what time they try to stop entering new orders. M&S Grill also, a little closer to the theater.
