Just east of Ephrata, this cool little market has a little bit of everything in a very friendly homey atmosphere. Driving up you see a small nursery and outside there is a seasonal display with pumpkins and a candle display and so on. Inside there are candy displays, a deli, some produce, frozen and refrigerated cases and a self serve hot dog roaster at the great price of 2 for $1. My wife bought some delicious bakery items and the staff was extremely nice.

We order certain homemade items a day or two ahead and then pick up the items at the Farm Market. This is really helpful since we're driving in from Philadelphia and some items do sell out. The homemade breads, broccoli-cauliflour salad, cole slaw, homemade soups, and speciality desserts are some of our favorites. It's so convenient and nice that the Village Farm Market family always gets our pre-orders correct and they're ready when we arrive.

Excellent subs. Very soft rolls and made to order.Baked goods looked very tempting. Garden center was beautiful.Employees very friendly. Small store and most likely could get crowded peak hours. Mentioned this was our first time there and they gave us our choice of small fruit bread. will return again.

Absolutely the best small fresh market ever. Not overwhelming. Staff makes deli sandwiches & each day, a sign is posted outside with 2 names on it. If your name is “this person or that person,” you get a free sandwich. Fresh fruits & vegetables, frozen home made meals, like lasagna, candy, baked goods, with really cool labels like, “baked by Rachel.” The best Oatmeal Raisin Cookies & the very best, Peach Bread! There are fresh flowers, potted mums & potted Fall arrangements for your front porch. Immediately attached is the garden center with tons of shrubs & bushes to buy. Staff incredibly friendly and engaging. Tell them when it is your first visit, & they will give you a free peach or cranberry or blueberry bread! We live in Mount Joy & go here every week or 2. Check out the unusual pumpkins. You just have to get one or 2!

We stumbled upon this market while roaming for produce stands in the area. So, so glad we did! What a wonderful place and little did we know when we stopped that we'd get a delicious lunch as well. Their cheesesteaks are some of the best I've had and the fresh rolls they use are to die for! I seriously can't wait to go back to get another. Great selection of baked goods and vegetables.

Their garden shop outside has wonderful plants, trees and shrubs and the grass lined paths were a welcome treat (as opposed to dirt or mulch). Quite unique as I've never seen a nursery with grass like that. Made the experience that much more enjoyable. The manager (or possibly owner) oversees everything and not a thing is missed and I think that's what makes this place so great. Don't miss it if you're in the area. It's about 1.5 hrs from my home, but I would drive just to go there!

The Village Farm Market is our go-to place in Lancaster County for homemade breads (whole wheat, cinnamon mix, white); homemade potato and macaroni salads and more great foods cooked on site. We also buy flowers, hand-made birdhouses here. This is a wonderful place to visit. You can eat outside at the tables if you need a travel break. The family members who own Village Market couldn't be nicer. This is a great spot for travelers. The prices of their slate and patio stones (behind the market / on the back grounds) are priced far lower than slate pieces I've priced at other Lancaster stops. Great food. Great garden items. Check out the hand carved marble garden benches - and the price! Wow!

The place is on the small size but it's packed with lots of goodies!

Produce, bulk candy, cookies, cakes, breads and even a deli. They have a really nice prepared food section - meat pies, soups, salads and my absolute favorite, Shepherd's Pie!! This time we tried something new - Lasagna Casserole. It was delicious!!

I often stop by with family and friends to enjoy the wide variety of items sold here. I especially enjoy the goodies available and the decorative items. Need to check out their plant selection this spring.

We were visiting Pennsylvania and were asked by a friend who had grown up in PA to bring back some Lebanon Bologna. We purchased shoofly pie, Moon Pies, Emma's Popcorn, and the bologna and our friend said that they were the best that he had ever had. The workers were very helpful and pleasant. If I had had another suitcase, I would have bought a whole lot more...great selection of local foods, fresh fruits & vegetables, and desserts!
