We've been using Adventure Sports for about 20 years now as our canoe-trip outfitter on the Delaware. They're always cool, accommodating and make the trip as easy as possible. The equipment is in great shape and the price is reasonable. I would definitely recommend them to anybody looking to take a float. Thank you.

The only positive about our experience with Adventure Sports was the river. It was a calm day and the river was clear, allowing us to see a number of fish and observe a heron doing some fishing along the riverbank. We did the six-mile trip, which was enough to appreciate the river. The staff, however, were another matter altogether. When we arrived at the check-in place, we were first greeted by an individual who informed us that he was indeed staff, but he didn't wear a shirt because he looked better without it. Essentially, he identified himself as a tool, which is not unexpected when dealing with teens. The second staff member, who said he would set us up with the boats reeked of marijanua, which I guess explained his speech and demeanor. At the end of the trip, we were told to head to the top of the stairs where we would find staff members with the uniform red shirts to direct us to our transportation back to the parking lot where we had left our vehicle earlier in the day. No one was at the top of the stairs. A group of us finally figured out where this mysterious staff were waiting. There were a number of vehicles there, but no one was ready to transport nor explained why we were standing there rather than being transported. In the meantime, we were treated to staff members complaining loudly about other staff members and the fact that there were people waiting to be transported, with no one to drive. In addition, we were privy to a loud, profanity-laced conversation about politicians and rapists that two staff members were having. When we were finally put on a van with a driver, Aaron (sp?), we began the trip back to our car, which included near-misses with vehicles and hitting another vehicle's mirror with our van's mirror because, apparently, Aaron learned how to drive from video games. We will definitely do a river tour like this again in that area, but we will be using another company, not Adventure Sports. The complete lack of professionalism of the staff (other than those at the check-in at the company's location, who were friendly) was enough to keep us from returning. A day earlier, we had taken a horseback riding tour where the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, professional and did not conduct themselves like boorish buffoons. Perhaps we were just unlucky enough to get the worst staff combination, but I'm not taking that chance again.

Adventure Sports are a First Class operation. They are so organized and make renting from them a breeze. We had 5 people in our party and everyone had a tremendous time. Their canoes and kayaks are in such great condition. This was our second overnight trip with Adventure Sports and we look forward to going many more times. Thank you again.

We went to Adventure Sports and we were a party of about 20 people. We had four rafts and the six mile trip from Smithfield Beach to Del Water Gap took about 3.5 hours without stops. The check in process was fast. The staff was professional & we didn't encounter any issues. The equipment was fine as well. The ride is quite scenic. Tips: - Early Booking - Water Shoes - Life Jackets are provided - Fill the online Forms for faster check-in

We decided to bring our kids rafting for the first time. As explained by our check in host, it was a family-friendly six mile trip. Check in took all of 5 minutes, which was great bc we were excited to get on the water. The crew at the launch area was knowledgeable and competent. They reviewed the safety info and off we went on our 6 mile journey. Beautiful scenery, great equipment, and a memorable experience for the family. We were safely transported back to our car by Moose (an employee, not an animal) who was very pleasant and got us pumped for our next trip. Great operation. All folks wore masks (except on the water) and I felt safe and comfortable. Thank you!
