This was my first time in an action zone. I was here with my daughter-in- law and my 2 grandchildren. The facility is very clean and the staff is very friendly and very patient with the children. We were there on Tuesday so the soft play was free. The games can be pricey depending on how much you want to spend. There is no entrance fee but there is a charge for bumper cars, laser zone and other things.
My grandchildren had a great time and I enjoyed hanging out with them.

We booked A birthday party for our 7 year old daughter about 2 months before the day. I called twice to confirm. Both times they had my last name wrong. The day of the party we arrived 15 min early because we knew it would be busy and wanted to set up and great the kids. Name on wrist bands was wrong. Staff too busy to change, so I did. Went to put cake and gifts in the rooms we rented and there was another party in there with no intent on leaving anytime soon. So parents arrive with their kids, room is dirty and not set up. Pure chaos. No one there knew what was going on or what they were doing. Our assigned hostess was trying to help us and was continually yelled at by a man, I’m assuming was the manager because he was in a black shirt. This man also argued with my husband that we were a walk- in party. We were not. Finally room is set up. I had to hunt someone down for drinks and to order the pizza etc. we ended up getting our drinks ourselves. The host assigned to us started crying in our room because she was being yelled at. No one gave us any direction on what to do with laser tag etc. When it was time to give out the token cards for the arcade we were only given 7 for a party of 16. So I had to argue to get the additional cards. I could go on more, but the gist was that they should not book parties back to back. They should not argue with the parents who are spending a lot of money for this place (and end up having to do it all themselves anyways) and they certainly should not yell at staff who are clearly overwhelmed and trying to help. I gave it two stars because it looks a lot better with the new updates, but we won’t be back for a party ever and not for a very long time to hang out. Truly disappointed that we spent so much money and it was a disaster.

I think the place is cool. The staff is super friendly. That was probably the best part of the visit. So, they don't charge an admission fee. They charge per ride/event. So, the bumper cars were $5 and the bounce house was $2 each time you rode/used it. The playground jungle gym was $2 for unlimited time. I thought the bumper cars and the bounce house were over-priced for the event. The fee should have been unlimited rides for the cars and bounce house. The arcades games were two tokens or more for each game. A token equal $0.25. The food was over-priced too, I think. A small slice of pizza was $2. And the real reason that I didn't give them four stars, is that they charge a minimum of $5 to pay by credit card. So, at first glance, it looks like a cheap place to hang out with the kids, but the little charges add up. I spent about $20 there for my son to play for 2 hours. It's a nice place but it's not worth $20.

Excellent for kids, there are arcade games for the bigger ones and the soft zone is great for younger ones.

One of Five kids were invited for a birthday party to Slinky Action Zone. With the other four kids in tow we had to pay for them to get in too. Thankfully we didnt have to pay for the adults. To enter the SoftPlay area (think big jungle gym)
Kids 4-14 were $5.00
Kids 1-3 were $3.50
Overall impression is of a Generic Chuck E Cheese. It has food, Bumper Cars, Laser Tag, and Arcade Games all for additional charges.
It was nice the kids ran wild and burned off some energy. Will be back again I am sure.

My husband and I brought our grand-daughter here for something to do while in Altoona. 2 hours for $5 in the Soft Play Zone. Good fun!

Took my daughter who was 5 years old there for the first time. It was pretty busy on a Sunday afternoon so it was hard to find tables available to sit at. The prices were very reasonable, but some of the games were pricey. Some games didn't work after inserting the tokens. For $5.00, my daughter played in the soft play area, which was tunnels and ball pit. The staff was professional and the environment was good.

what games are included in "soft play" versus the "laser tag". Our certificates are for either or. We live in State college and I was wondering if it would be worth it to drive the distance. What is usual length of time to go through each activity?
